The battle against the massive level one awakened polar bear raged on, the air echoing with relentless gunfire and the roar of a beast that needs to die for Raven's enjoyment. Metal Mouse's Browning M2 .50 caliber turret fired from its mounted position on his back, tracking the bear's every movement with expert efficiency. The armor-piercing rounds smashed into the bear's thick, mutated hide, leaving deep, gory gun grooves that oozed thick oil like black blood.
Behind Metal Mouse, Alara crouched, her face serious and focused. She fired her AK-203 using burst fire, each fluid round tiped with Raven's home brewed poison. Every shot hit its mark, sinking into the gun wounds left open by Metal Mouse's cannon fire. The bear's skin began to sizzle and pop as black blood splashed against the cracked concrete, sending up putrid smoke on impact.
Bang! Bang! Bang! The gunfire formed a deadly hailstorm as the bear charged forward, its grotesque mouth snapping, saber-tooh like front teeth biting at only empty air in fury. The mutated polar bear's red, beady red eyes locked onto the trio with a hateful intelligence that sent a shiver of excitement up Raven's spine. This is a wonderful battle she thought to herself.
Seeing the monster within the last few meters of them, Raven rose from her position behind Metal Mouse. Her gaze focused as she swung her modified M72 LAW up onto her shoulder, the weapon's advanced targeting system flashing red as it locked onto the bear's skeletal right front paw as Raven smiled and pulled the trigger to fire.
Boom! Bang! ROOAR!!
The rocket charged forward through the air, slamming into the bear's leg with an explosive boom. A massive shockwave shook the zoo sidewalk as his skeletal leg was obliterated, reduced to shattered bone shards and torn muscle cord. The bear howled in anguish, as his colossal body collapsed forward, struggling to support his immense weight on his three remaining paws.
"Aim for the legs!" Raven shouted to Alara, her voice loud over the chaos. "They won't be able to stand once you take one of them out!"
"Got it!" Alara yelled back, her eyes bright with enlightenment. She shifted her aim, her finger pulling on the trigger. Bang! Bang! Bang! Fluid rounds hammered into the bear's side and back legs, the poison working faster as it flowed deeper into his bloodstream.
Raven tossed the spent M72 LAW back into her system space, her movements smooth. Then without pause, she pulled out a glowing Tang sword from the system space, the blade catching the weak winter light like a flash of silver. The bear collapsed violently, trying to drag itself upright, its saber-like teeth snapping furiously at them, roaring in pure anger.
Raven charged forward in the air, boots splashing through blood and snow. With a surge of her level one awakened strength, she launched herself into the air, flying high above the beast's head. As she descended, she angled the Tang sword downward, then using her descending momentum.
The blade plunged straight into the bear's right eye socket, sinking deep with a sickening squelch. The bear let out a deafening roar, its whole body convulsing beneath Raven as blood erupted around the embedded sword hilt.
Planting her boots firmly on the bear's massive face, Raven gripped the sword handle and began to twist it clockwise, the metal grinding through thick brain matter as it shredded the inside of the bears skull. The bear spasmed violently, its monstrous claws gouging deep trenches into the concrete below as it buckled and jerked in a last, futile attempt at life, questioning why me. The answer is because you were in Raven's way, and it's a fun date to kill you for two phycotic women.
The bear's roars turned into gurgling whimpers as dark blood poured from his mouth, and he choked on his own blood.
Finally, with one last violent shudder, the bear collapsed fully dead, his immense head going limp under Raven's feet.
Metal Mouse's Browning M2 fell silent, the smoking barrel resting for a moment. Alara slowly lowered her AK-203, her eyes wide as she watched Raven stand on top of the bear's skull, sword in hand, her white crop top and skin splattered with blood like an insane war goddess.
Raven pulled the Tang sword free of the eye the blade dripped thick, black blood. She stood for a moment, breathing slowly, her eyes scanning the lifeless body beneath her. Then she looked over at Alara, a look of warmth passing through her gaze.
Alara stepped forward, her rifle held loosely at her side, her face flushed with both obsession and awe. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out, her lips simply parting in shock as she looked at Raven.
Raven smiled faintly, turning her attention back to the now-still bear. With a small hand movement, she flicked the blood off her sword and returned it to her system space. The fight was over.
