"Michelle, Michelle" a lady called tapping her, and she looked up with tears in her eyes, all eyes were on her, she immediately stood up and rushed towards the school gate while some teachers followed her in pursuit. She was thinking deeply, was she seeing things? Are those girls real or they're figments of her imaginations, was it because she was stressed that she let her imaginations run through her mind, at this point she felt the need for the ground to open up and swallow her, she headed towards her hostel, constantly looking back as if she was being followed. Lucky enough, her room mate,Sandra was around, she banged the door and immediately climbed her bed and covered herself with her duvet. "Uhmmm, are you good Michelle?" Sandra asked sitting up and staring at her with concern, Michelle didn't say anything, instead she faced the other side and Sandra let her be.
Thoughts of what happened in the school kept on flashing in her head, she couldn't close her eyes because if she did, she'll see those three girls at her face. She remained Iike that for the rest of the evening, she brought down her blankets and sneaked a peak across her room, her roommate was not around, she's probably with her boyfriend she muttered to herself and got up, she pulled off her shoes and socks and pushed it under the bed.
She stood up and started taking off her clothes, then the door slammed open, she immediately grabbed her towel and faced towards the door panting hard, "chill Michelle, it's just me" her roommate said looking at her with a disgusting look, "you scared the fuck out me" she said packing her clothes together , "I'm sorry bout that, I made noodles with eggs, you interested?" Sandra asked cleaning her legs, "I'll take them later, thank you" she replied and went outside, towards the hostel's lounge, it was 8pm in the night, the gen was on, the officer in charge of the hostel light will turn it off by 10pm on the dot, she had to hurry up.
She was done washing the clothes and wanted to spread it on the twine when she noticed something unusual, a girl putting on a night gown with blood stains on it, she was bare footed and stood miles away from her, Michelle looked around her, hoping to see if anybody else notices the girl but nobody moved. "Hey, do you see that girl over there?" Michelle asked another girl by the corner, pointing to the weird girl "No, there's literally nothing there, just trees and overgrown grasses" the girl said and packed her buckets and went inside. Michelle was scared and as she turned again, she saw the girl, this time the girl bent her neck Michelle, muttered some words that she didn't hear and began going towards the other side, Michelle immediately grabbed her things and rushed inside.
As she slammed the door at her back she felt relieved, she went over to the kitchen and saw the noodles her roommate dropped for her and sighed, she had lost her appetite so she just put the food in a hot flask and made for her bed. She climbed on her bed and took a glance of her roommate who was already asleep "I wish I could sleep so peacefully the way you sleep" she muttered sadly and turned to the other side of the bed. "Urgh, thought the principal hired people to clean this place" "the love garden was my favorite spot with uncle Felix" "the Flowers gotten more beautiful" "I miss being Alive". Michelle heard giggles and was wondering where she was, she saw a familiar building and rubbed her eyes even more, that was the teacher's lounge, her eyes opened wildly she was in school, "how did I get here?" She asked no one in particular, she heard noises coming from a distance and hid in one of those teachers classroom, with her eyes through the window. It was two girls, they had uniforms on but something was odd about them, the uniforms were dirty and torn and had blood stains of them, they wore long socks that were filthy and a black canvas. "Who knew mia would still be pretty even though she dead" "I miss my boyfriend, Williams, he's gotten another fuckin girlfriend" the girls stopped at the door of the classroom she was in and she got scared thinking they noticed her, "let's just go to the cafeteria, maybe find something to eat" one of them said and they began moving away, to the cafeteria, she stood up and moved quietly to the rest room where she barfed, she was getting really scared and wondered where everybody she knew was. Just then, she heard noises again, this time the voice of the girls sounded familiar, "it sucks being dead, got a lot of restrictions and bullshits like that" one of them said and scoffed, ,"that's not my problem, I wanna go to the bathroom" the other one said and headed for the bathroom Michelle was in, Michelle's heart started beating fastly as she felt the door creaking open. "Hey, we're spirits remember, we don't PEEEE" the first girl said stretching the "eee" "oh, I forgot, but it did sound good in the ear" she said and giggled. She listened carefully and noticed they had gone, she peeped through the bathroom hallways and when she saw nothing, she came out and headed to the main door in a swift, as she opened the door something grabbed her, "hey, it's that girl again" one of them said chuckling, "where d'you think you're running to?" The second one asked holding her cheeks, Michelle didn't say anything, instead she started breathing hard, "not gonna talk huh? Guess I'll have to teach you a lesson that people who doesn't want to mind their business learns" she said and pulled out her fingers, they were long and sharp, probably iron made, she ripped one finger at her cheek and Michelle screamed waking up, her roommate woke up breathing hard, she looked at Michelle but she was still screaming, as if she was struggling with something, she rushed over to her and started tapping her forcefully, eventually she woke up with tears in her eyes. "Jesus! What happened to your cheeks!??"
