Chapter 26 - Chapter Twenty Six

Chapter Twenty Six

Yo.

Surprise, I'm back. It's been a while.

Last time we got to talk like this, my mind was a chaotic mess.

Not that it still isn't chaotic.

Trust me, you'll be begging me to go back to normal soon enough.

For now, enjoy my POV as I enthrall you with the happenings of this past year, seven months, three hours, five minutes, forty-two seconds.

After my glorious king, Madara Uchiha, and I had left the ruined cavern—the place where I had resurrected him, where we had danced, where we'd held our philosophical debate, where I'd given him the true history of the shinobi world, where he'd accepted my devout help—we…

Well, we simply found a town to rest.

I'd used Instant Transmission to teleport us to a town within my sensing range.

There, we sat in a tavern. I'd already given Madara a cloak to don—no one needed to see his face in a place like this. The air was thick with the smell of stale ale and woodsmoke, the low murmur of other patrons a dull backdrop to our conversation.

We discussed a lot of things. For one, we discussed the itinerary of our travels—my idea, by the way. A couple of other useless things, too.

Then, surprisingly—or not—he asked when I was resurrecting him properly.

According to him, there was no reason to enjoy the world while he couldn't feel it.

I think he was jealous he couldn't eat. I was feasting on the tavern's food, after all. Can't blame me—I'm a foodie.

I told him about sending my clone to periodically heal Nagato and supply him with Hashirama cells so he'd be able to cast the Rinne Rebirth.

Though I did advise against doing that. It would derail our plans—my plans.

Nagato would be a good figurehead for the jinchūriki capture plan. Madara was to remain a well-hidden mastermind.

I wanted a little semblance of canon.

Yes, it's sentimental. Redundant.

But for me to enjoy myself, the new generation needed their character development, and the Akatsuki was needed for that.

Which brought me to the fact: if Madara were resurrected, he'd need his Rinnegan back.

Not happening.

Although he's my favorite character, everyone listens to my very well-detailed plan. No matter how out of the loop they are.

After that, I found an inn for us to rest.

It was a stupid decision—another one that earned a not-so-nice look from Madara.

Tsk.

Never meet your heroes.

Yes, we did not need rest. Madara was undead, and I had infinite stamina.

But the last few months prior to that day, I'd been too socially active. That day, more so.

I'd had to dial my acting skill to the max.

To me, at this point, my social anxiety is just stupid.

I'll just mask it with my adept acting skill.

What I did do was catalog my rewards for the achievements I'd gotten over the past months.

I had to start spinning. The Rinnegan awaits.

After checking, I had:

· Mythical Tickets: 2

· Legendary Tickets: 9

· Diamond Tickets: 11

· Platinum Tickets: 9

· Gold Tickets: 8

· Bronze Tickets: 3

The achievements were:

Revived Madara Uchiha » +1 Mythical Ticket

Defeated the Akatsuki » +1 Legendary Ticket

Fought Madara to a Draw » +1 Legendary Ticket

Mastered Edo Tensei » +1 Legendary Ticket

Defeated Obito Uchiha » +1 Diamond Ticket

Mastered FTG » +1 Diamond Ticket

Mastered Multiple Shadow Clone » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Nagato » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Konan » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Obito Uchiha » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Black Zetsu » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Itachi Uchiha » +1 Platinum Ticket

Met Sasori, Deidara, Kakuzu, Hidan, and Kisame » +5 Gold Tickets

With immediate effect, I synthesized the Diamond tickets, which brought the Legendary tickets to 10.

Then I synthesized the Legendary tickets to have 3 Mythical tickets.

Mwahahaha.

Only the highest level is accepted.

The tickets then turned into:

· Mythical Tickets: 3

· Legendary Tickets: 0

· Diamond Tickets: 1

· Platinum Tickets: 9

· Gold Tickets: 8

· Bronze Tickets: 3

After I'd relaxed, the next day we began our tour.

We went around the small towns, then made our way to small villages.

We visited:

Takigakure (Hidden Waterfall Village) – Land of Waterfall

Kusagakure (Hidden Grass Village) – Land of Grass

Yugakure (Hidden Hot Water Village) – Land of Hot Water

Hoshigakure (Hidden Star Village) – Land of Bears

Shimogakure (Hidden Frost Village) – Land of Snow

Getsugakure (Hidden Moon Village)

Ishigakure – Land of Earth

Once I'd shown him the little things the normal people of the shinobi world go through, we made our way to the major villages.

Sunagakure (Hidden Sand Village) – Land of Wind

Kirigakure (Hidden Mist Village) – Land of Water

Kumogakure (Hidden Cloud Village) – Land of Lightning

Iwagakure (Hidden Stone Village) – Land of Earth

Konohagakure (Hidden Leaf Village) – Land of Fire

Whenever we visited, we made sure to mask our chakra to the lowest of the low and only communicated with civilians.

For faster movement, I employed Instant Transmission and FTG.

The Land of Fire we visited last, as it held emotional value to Madara.

It was the village he'd put aside the generational beef between the Uchiha and the Senju to create.

A village he'd created with his best friend.

A village he'd left after it failed to give him the closure he desired after shaking hands with the Senju.

Just the Hokage position—Tobirama's stingy ass couldn't give it to him.

Worse off, the Uchiha chose the Leaf over him.

Aiya, I feel your pain, Madara.

It was at this point he found out the Uchiha had been reduced to three living members.

I didn't count him. He's undead.

Hehe.

If I hadn't given him exposition on the Ōtsutsuki clan, he would have gone on to ramble about me having the Mangekyō Sharingan with the straight swirl.

But him knowing—especially since he knew about Hagoromo and his ancestor status to the Uchiha—he was well aware that Ōtsutsuki are the originators of dōjutsu.

He then mocked me for not having a Rinnegan like the other Ōtsutsuki.

I had to defend my honor.

I'm not that related to the Ōtsutsuki.

All the more reason for me to spin.

Did I mention I had successfully healed Nagato?

I did tell him not to announce it to the Akatsuki.

Though Naruto would have a lot of trouble fighting for revenge against him when he destroys the Leaf.

If that happens.

But I trust Naruto. He's the main character.

And I know how strong Sage Mode is. I've perfected it, after all.

Hehe.

The achievements I'd made gave me the following rewards:

One Mythical ticket for touring the ninja world.

One Legendary ticket for visiting the five major villages.

One Platinum ticket for healing Nagato.

I then synthesized the Platinum ticket to gain a Diamond ticket.

· Mythical Tickets: 4

· Legendary Tickets: 1

· Diamond Tickets: 2

· Platinum Tickets: 0

· Gold Tickets: 8

· Bronze Tickets: 3

I didn't want to do this, but I've been told I have to. I need to.

Well, you guys are my therapists, so let's talk about my emotions.

To me, emotions are a drag.

Talking about them, more so.

As a man, talking about emotions or being beat up about them makes you weak.

That's what I think.

Is that right?

No, it's not.

Men should talk about their emotions so they don't eat them up.

Not me, though.

For me, the only emotions I don't suppress are joy, anger, and sadness.

Sadness should not even be shown.

Carry on, soldiers.

It's been a weird four years since I transmigrated here.

Highs and lows, but I've only had one goal: to entertain myself.

Well, I accomplished a major goal—I revived Madara and fought with him. I went on a tour with him.

I'm quite satisfied.

It's the little things that matter.

Now, what's my goal?

To see what the ripple effects of my interventions will be.

And I plan to interfere even more.

Well, I'll leave chances for the new generation to grow.

Even though it will sadden them.

A man cannot call himself a man if he can't joke about the things that have happened to him.
