Chapter 33 - Ch 33. Fight for answers (Part 1).

**Flashback**

Bumblebee sat on a chair. In the Cybertron park which was still very beautiful at that time. Filled with blue-leafed trees with pink flowers. Right behind where he sat was a statue of the Autobots logo which was watered by a fountain.

Sitting alone and staring blankly, one point at the ground. Ignoring the sound of flowing water, the chirping of birds next to him and some people passing by.

"What are you thinking about, Bee?"

Cylob came closer to him. He was holding ice cream in both hands. Cylob then sat next to him, and gave him the ice cream.

"I'm confused about how to get more money?" said Bumblebee while devouring his ice cream.

"Come work in the mines, Bee. The money is more," said Cylob.

"No... that can't be enjoyed in the long term, Cylob!" Bumblebee said.

"You collect the money, then create job vacancies. Not bad, you can be a boss," said Cylob.

"... I don't know Cylob, I'm confused thinking about it. Mining doesn't guarantee reforestation. Just think, we keep mining someone's body," said Bumblebee.

Bumblebee swallowed all his ice cream, even the Cup. While he was talking earlier.

"Yeah... you asked me. I don't know either," Cylob said.

"Our salaries are so small, we barely have enough for food, there's barely anything left," said Bumblebee.

"Taking dangerous missions pays well. But, I'm not sure we can survive!" said Cylob.

Cylob then looked down, and his ice cream suddenly melted rapidly in his hand.

"...You're so cruel, Bee. You keep forgetting me so easily..."

Cylob's speech sounded odd. Bee then turned to the side. A sight that struck the heart. Cylob in a state of incomplete body. His chest was hollow, his eyes were not shining, his body was rusty, and the paint was fading. Like a living corpse.

"... I have saved you many times..." Cylob said. His face was dark and his eyes were invisible.

"but you can't..." Cylob clenched his fists.

"You're so selfish!" Cylob's voice trembled, his tone fluctuating.

"Why, Bee?" Cylob asked.

Bumblebee was speechless. His eyes continued to stare at Cylob.

"Aren't you the best student?" Cylob asked again.

"Aren't you strong?" Cylob asked again.

"Why did you let me die?" Cylob asked again.

"I don't want to!!" Cylob said in a high tone and his voice was like a monster.

BANG!!

"Stop, Cylob!"

A high pitched note came out of Bumblebee's mouth. His arms automatically flapped. Attracting people's attention.

Cylob was thrown from his seat and hit the ground. The blow hit him in the back of the head.

"ARGGHHHH!!"

Cylob's tears flowed, his voice trembling. "Bee... it hurts!"

Bee immediately stood up and walked towards Cylob. Heart pounding, worry filling him.

"Cylob... Sorry... I... didn't... mean it like this"

"This guy is crazy huh... yesterday he also hit his friend, to this extent. And he even claimed it was an accident... What!" said one of the residents who were nearby talking about him.

"It's their own fault, maybe the neighbor's child is also the cause. Just leave them be. Mostly they're just looking for attention."

"I hope my child will never be an orphan like them..."

...

Cylob stood up and ran away with tears streaming down his face, leaving Bumblebee behind.

"Cylob!!" Bumblebee called.

The pounding feeling froze in his chest, his best friend had left on his own accord.

...

"THROW!!"

Bumblebee was strangled and slammed into the steel wall behind him. The wall was dented. Check someone's hand was still holding on tightly and getting tighter.

He tried to release the choke with his hands. He took out the sword in his hand, tearing the strangler's hand apart.

It didn't work at all, because my head started to feel dizzy. My vision started to spin.

A suffocating shockwave... That's exactly what Bee saw. It was Cylob, with orange eyes.

"ARGGHHH..." Bumblebee screamed.

But the grip grew tighter, crushing his neck.

Can't catch a breath, and the nerves to the brain are blocked. Vision is dimming. Hands are losing their strength.

The body did not respond, and only darkness was visible.

"Bee!" Low pass voice called. But only darkness was seen. The body wouldn't move.

....

Bumblebee sat hunched over. Bending his head to his knees, arms covering his forehead and face.

It was quiet all around, there was only darkness. One light from above that only shone on him.

He then raised his head to look around. There was no sound except his own heartbeat, and the sound of friction moving.

He took a step, stood hesitantly. He kept looking to the right, left, front, back. Looking at the blinding light above him.

Eyes reflexively go down. Looking forward.

Someone stood on the newly emerged light there. Covered by the glare of the light, all that was visible was the glowing red eyes there. And the shadow of a large body.

"Who's there?" asked Bumblebee.

The man then took a step, but towards Bumblebee.

The heart was pounding with fear. But the feet still chose to stay there, the light shining on Bee did not follow him.

Meanwhile the person, light followed him.

There was heavy breathing from the person.

Bee closed her eyes, afraid.

The man touched Bumblebee's shoulder.

Bumblebee then dared himself, turning his head up to look at his face. The person's eyes were sparkling, but something felt wrong.

"You will remember everything later, Bee,"

The person's voice sounded very deep.

Bumblebee saw the person. His face looked exactly like his.

"I am your defense system..." the person said.

"...Stop blaming yourself, Bee." The gentle voice of the person.

The person then sat in front of Bumblebee.

"Who are you?" asked Bumblebee.

The person then smiled at Bumblebee.

"Even in the darkness..." said the Person.

"I will always be with you, Bee." The man then hugged Bumblebee.

The feeling of fear, anxiety and frustration seemed to disappear.

"Because of you..."

"... is my child, Bee.[1]"

...

"No way..." Bumblebee didn't think.

Tears then streamed down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry..." The tears of the person who turned out to be Bumblebee's father also couldn't be held back.

"...I left you when you still needed me," said the father.

...

The dark light around them was swept away by their feelings. The darkness turned into a field of red flowers that filled their surroundings.

Red symbolizes the unparalleled love between a father and son. Their feelings will never change, no matter how far the world they travel.

Bumblebee glides freely in outer space, which is very far away. Unconscious. He is still in recovery mode, making him see some of the past about himself alone in the darkness of outer space.

The rocket carrying it continued to launch without knowing where it would take it.

Elsewhere.

In front of the gate of the Autobots headquarters, stood two people staring at each other and holding sharp weapons, Optimus and Voidecay.

But his opponent was empty-handed, so Optimus decided not to use his ship.

"I've heard your story, Voidecay." Optimus stepped aside.

"I hope you will answer some of my questions," Optimus continued.

Voidecay smiled, something funny. "I didn't give it to him for free, Optimus."

"How about... one of your attacks that hits me, one question will be answered!" said Voidecay.

Optimus moved forward very quickly. Hand-to-hand occurred. Voidecay blocked Optimus' blow.

Exchanging blows with very agile movements.

PLAQUE!

A slap landed on Voidecay's face. Optimus immediately jumped back, keeping his distance.

"You're impatient, I see," Voidecay smiled. He chuckled a little as if something was tickling him.

"Where did you get the Energon, and—"

"One attack, one question." Voidecay cut Optimus off.

"Tsk!" Optimus clicked his tongue to hold back the boiling command in his chest.

"My master gifted it to me, and let me do what I like with Dark Energon," said Voidecay.

Voidecay then folded his hands behind his back, stepping aside

"My master asked me to keep this a secret, so..."

Voidecay stopped in his tracks.

"I can't tell you more."

Optimus' eyebrows narrowed, pupils constricting, locking an angry gaze on Voidecay.

"I'll hit you more!"

Optimus then stomped his feet hard, jumping high. And focused both feet to kick Voidecay.

Voidecay[2] stands tall, smiling, funny with Optimus' actions.

BANG!!

A large tentacle came out of the ground. Optimus ended up kicking the tentacle instead of Voidecay.

Optimus kicked his failed attack, to push his body back to its previous position.

Slash!!

The tentacles disappeared back into the ground.

"What is this?" Optimus asked.

"Hehehe!" Voidecay chuckled. Optimus standing in a state of questioning was something very ticklish.

Optimus stared at Voidecay sharply. In his mind, "He is an unpredictable opponent..."

"He has tentacle creatures that can appear out of nowhere, dozens of them, and they're huge!" Optimus remembered Elita-1 as saying.

...

Optimus clenched his fists tightly. The blue energy from the Matrix flowed into both of his fists. The energy assembled the object that created Optimus' Energy Axe weapon. A sharp axe, and very very hot.[3]

"Let's be more serious," he said softly, but his eyes didn't blink from his opponent.

"I hope it's not a problem for you,"

Voidecay stuck out his long tongue, wetting his dry lips.

"You're an attractive man, Prime. You should be mine, hehehe!" she laughed.

Voidecay then raised both hands. Calling several tentacles to come out onto the ground. The tentacles hung out with a very large size, 4x Optimus' body.

"I'm serious, I won't let you get any answers, Mr. Optimus Prime!" Voidecay smiled maniacally until his mouth wanted to be wider than his face.

"You haven't even mastered the Matrix[4], my goodness, what a shame!" Voidecay covered his mouth that wanted to squeal.

"The previous Primes were very skilled in using it, even to kill the Scourge!" said Voidecay.

Voidecay put a bigger bait on his fishing hook. Making a fish, interested and want to swallow it.

Optimus didn't take his sharp gaze off of him.

"...Where did Scourge go after the tragedy of Destinus?!!"

The Prime's voice began to echo in the air.

Voidecay smiled, his hand tapping his forehead. Asking Optimus to attack him.

"Tsk!!" Optimus clicked his tongue.

The Prime took quick steps and ran forward to Voidecay.

Several Tentacles moved to hit Optimus. Dragging him into the air and about to hit the ground.

WSUSHK!

PLAK!

Optimus' axe flew, if Voidecay was a second late and if it weren't for the tentacle, the axe would have been stuck in his head.

The tentacles that were pushing were slowly being torn to pieces.

YES!!

ZINGG!!

Optimus stood behind Voidecay in an instant. The axe was only millimeters away from Voidecay's neck.

Splitting the tentacles that also protected Voidecay from the axe's attack.

The shredded tentacles fell off and fell to the ground.

"Okay... I'll give you one question."

Next Chapter: 34. Fight for answers.

[1] Why does Bee's father have red eyes? Hmm... the answer will be in volume 3.

[2] He's one of those unique characters, whether he's in the original or not. I'm even a bit confused on how to describe him. He is mysterious. But it seems he also has a boss, who do you think he is?

[3] Does this fit? I don't quite understand this even though I've done a lot of digging.

[4] So by season 2, Optimus still hasn't mastered the matrix. Not without reason, it's because he doesn't have much time to learn it, especially in the present.
