Chapter 6 - Stop Fighting, You Guys!

Iori Kitahara tilted his head, looking at Kazuma Kiryu, placing a jacket in Nanako hands with a 'Nick Young expression'.

That was originally the jacket Kazuma Kiryu was wearing himself, and now…

"DAMN IT, didn't you say you're not used to others wearing your clothes, you bastard?!"

"Didn't i say that was a lie?"

The two seemed to have summoned their stands, their arms hooked together and straining, the muscles tightening their sleeves.

"Oh ho! You're quite righteous about your lies, so why can't you lend me your clothes to wear?"

"Of course it's because I don't want my clothes to be tainted with the smell of a pervert!"

"Who are you calling a pervert, you stupid bastard!"

"Who else could it be but you?"

In the end, it took Ryujiro Kotobuki and Nanako speaking up together to mediate the two, who had been straining until their bodies were slightly trembling, separated again.

"By the way, although I have clothes now, I guess it would be better to have a pair of pants too," Iori pinched his chin, looking down in thought.

"For that, I can't help either," Nanako instinctively pressed down on her skirt, her gentle smile showing a hint of embarrassment.

"I'm not after your skirt, Nanako-san, and Kazuma, put your phone down!"

Iori face became monstrous again, and after warning Kazuma Kiryu who was about to call the police, he turned his head to look at Ryujiro Kotobuki.

"Senpai, lend me a pair of pants! Please!"

"I've told you this is unnecessary… well," Ryujiro Kotobuki spread his hands with a helpless expression.

"How about this, if you can recruit one new club member, I'll give you a pair of pants."

"Okay, but also tell me how to get to Grand Blue."

"Ok."

"It's a deal."

"The contract is made."

The two bumped fists, and Kazuma Kiryu, standing beside them, looked at the confident Iori with curiosity.

"You already have a target?"

"That's right," Iori did a cool turn, then raised his fist and walked towards the distance.

"Just wait for me and bring the pants."

These words…

Everyone felt speechless.

Shaking his head, Kazuma Kiryu looked in the direction Iori had gone, his eyes showing a glimmer of sympathy.

Who knows which innocent person is about to be mercilessly tricked into joining the diving club.

It's really pitiful to think about it.

And regarding this question, Kazuma soon got the answer.

The victim was a handsome young man with blonde hair, who was directly locked up by Ryujiro Kotobuki and Shinji Tokita, who just arrived, after being tricked by Iori.

However, compared to the victim himself, what caught Kazuma attention more was the clothes the victim was wearing.

It was a plain shirt, with a purple-haired, purple-eyed 2D loli printed on the white T-shirt, which made Kazuma gaze somewhat strange.

Because if he remembered correctly, this purple-haired loli seemed to be voiced by his cousin, Maya Iida.

Which means, this victim is very likely a fan of his cousin?

Pondering and clicking his tongue, Kazuma no longer paid attention to this otaku who had unfortunately fallen victim to iori scheme, and instead continued to help the Kotegawa sisters hand out flyers and recruit new members.

It's worth mentioning that, without personally witnessing the diving club heavy drinking, many ignorant freshmen who saw Kazuma and the Kotegawa sisters handing out flyers actually became interested in the diving club, and were subsequently tricked into joining the club.

For this reason, Kazuma even added quite a few girls' line accounts, to the extent that he felt a bit of a chill down his spine when he thought about it later.

If this had happened during high school, Kazuma felt that being drained dry would be the lightest level of punishment for just this incident.

However, no matter what, the diving club recruitment finally came to a successful end.

Many new members, including Kazuma Kiryuu and the other three, were led by Tokita Shinji to the location where the Diving Club was holding their welcome party.

"Hey, Kazuma, Kohei, why do I feel like so many people are staring at us?"

While Tokita Shinji was delivering his welcome speech, Iori, who noticed many gazes occasionally falling on him, frowned and asked the two beside him in confusion.

"Be confident and remove the 'us' part," Kazuma glanced at Iori, who was still wearing Nanaka jacket, and said calmly.

Speaking of which, Nanaka wasn't here now because she had only come to help the Diving Club today. So, after the recruitment ended, she bid farewell and returned to the diving equipment store.

However, before leaving, she did return the jacket that still carried a faint trace of her scent to Kazuma.

"So, why do I have to stand next to this cross-dressing freak?"

Imamura Kohei, the handsome blond guy, also glanced at Kitahara Iori out of the corner of his eye and complained with disdain.

Among everyone, the person he least wanted to be associated with was this freak, Kitahara Iori.

"What do you mean? And shouldn't I be the one saying that?" Iori felt his dignity was being insulted.

"Bullshit! If you hadn't tricked me, would I be standing here now?"

"Tricked? Didn't I introduce you to a new world?"

"You call this a new world?!"

Watching the two of them suddenly shift into a JoJo-esque argument, Kazuma silently turned his head to the side.

Honestly, he didn't know these two idiots.

"Hey, don't fight!"

Just as Kazuma was about to distance himself from the two who were about to start a fight and go find Chisa, Tokita Shinji walked up to the three of them.

He looked at Kitahara Iori and Imamura Kohei and continued, "If you really want to settle this, then let's have a competition."

"A competition?" The three of them looked at him in confusion.

"That's right, it's a game passed down through generations in the Diving Club – making funny faces at each other."

"The rules are simple: hold alcohol in your mouth, and if you spit it out, you lose. So before that, Kazuma, Kohei, you need to test if you're allergic to alcohol," Tokita Shinji explained to the three.

"Sure," Kohei nodded. Making funny faces? Easy, he was great at it.

"I'm fine with it too," Iori also nodded.

Kazuma frowned slightly. "I don't want to do it, senpai."

It wasn't that Kazuma was unwilling to test for alcohol allergies, he just felt he didn't want to participate in this competition.

"Oh ho! Kazuma, are you chickening out before the fight even starts?" Iori seized the opportunity to mock him in an abstract manner.

Hearing this, a black vein immediately popped on Kazuma forehead.

"Nonsense, this is clearly a dispute between you two. What does it have to do with me?"

"That's it! It's fine, Kazuma, there's no shame in admitting defeat. Just drink until you're drunk as a penalty," Iori spread his hands, his expression and tone extremely punchable.

"Damn it! Your absurd words are practically hitting me in the face," Kazuma loudly retorted.

After a pause, he seemed to realize something and turned his face away, covering his mouth as he chuckled.

"Oh – I get it, Iori. You're afraid of losing to Kohei, so you're trying to drag me into this to help you, right?"
