Chapter 257 - Cold World

The vast world had always been cold, it spoke of feelings but they were always meaningless... suddenly she showed up, and the cold vast world began to have some warmth, the cold vast world became worthy to live for.

"Andrew, it's raining." He heard her voice and it made him aware of the cool drops of water descending from the sky.

Realizing her hair was getting wet, he reluctantly peeled his arms off her fragile body realizing he had been holding her too tightly but she hadn't uttered a single word of complaint.

When he pulled away from the hug, he looked into her eyes like someone studying her features for the first time.

Her fingers came up to lightly brush his cheeks.

In just a few minutes, old wounds had been peeled open and healed at the very same time. So right from the start, she was indeed his antidote.

Someone rushing over to the terrace suddenly interrupted this moment, the person held an umbrella over their heads while keeping a respectful distance.
