Several minutes later Andrew walked back into Anne's bedroom, she was still curled up on the bed the exact same way he'd left her before driving to Gabriel's villa.
When he had decided to punish Clara, he thought that little bit of his rage had been appeased, however coming back home to see Anne's fragile form and how she slept curling into herself, the rage came back again rushing through him, he suddenly wanted to hurt someone.
He returned to his room to shower, especially washing off the hand he had used on Clara repeatedly.
He wasn't oblivious to the way she looked at him, nor had he been unaware the several times she had tried to make a move on him, she wasn't the first woman to look at him that way nor try to get his attention, so it made no difference to him what lengths she tried to go if she thought she could win him.
