Chapter 7 - Chapter 06 - Constellation Sponsor (Part 4)

---

From the novel The Failure of Five Heroes Defeated Disasters that I read, Constellation Sponsors are entities that help players become stronger. These entities can be gods or goddesses, mythical beings, or even legendary figures from the past. They form contracts with players they deem worthy. Players who form a contract with a Sponsor become vessels capable of wielding the Sponsor's immense power. The stronger the Sponsor, the greater the power the player can use.

However, to gain that extraordinary power, players must overcome the challenges presented in the Quests. If a player proves themselves worthy to their Sponsor, they may receive power even without having a high level. The key requirement is maximizing their potential, not just relying on their level.

"Let's go to the medical post first, we'll talk about this later," I suggested, urging my injured friends to get medical attention.

After the fierce battle against Wandering, our party gained more EXP than the others—because we were the ones who defeated Wandering.

"Ouch, careful please," Bima groaned as Loka treated his wounds.

"Hang in there, you're always training hard—this should be nothing," Loka tried to comfort him.

"But this was my first time fighting such a powerful monster. I got seriously injured."

"Status Open! (In my mind) I didn't expect it—my Sponsor is the King of Kediri, Prabu Jayabaya. Also, my level has increased thanks to the EXP from defeating Wandering."

Bima approached me, his body almost fully wrapped in bandages. "Hey Jay, are you okay?"

"Yeah, Bima. I'm just a bit tired."

"That's good. But you still need to treat your wounds," he reminded me.

"Now's a good time to ask about their Sponsors. Every player must have a different Sponsor. I want to know who they've formed contracts with. I should ask them now." I thought to myself.

"Oh right, Bima. Can I ask who your Constellation Sponsor is?"

"My Sponsor? Hang on, Status Open! Oh… you mean this? (he looks at his status). My Sponsor is Ma—"

Before Bima could say the name, Loka quickly covered his mouth. She stopped him from casually revealing his Status.

"Ahaha (laughing), I think asking about someone's Status is a private matter now. Isn't that right, Bima? Roro?" Loka reminded us all to respect each other's privacy.

"That's right!" Roro agreed.

"Yeah, we shouldn't be asking about other people's Levels, Status, or Constellation Sponsors. It's for everyone's good," Loka added.

I apologized to Bima. "Loka's right. I'm sorry for asking about your Status so directly."

"Haha… It's fine, Jay. I wouldn't mind if it's you asking. But from now on, we should respect each other's privacy."

Our whole party gathered after that to talk about our next steps. What kind of party would we become? But before that...

[Skill "Jayabaya's Vision" activated.

Cooldown: 7 Days]

"Interesting! This skill lets me see other people's Status in detail. I didn't expect Bima's Sponsor to be one of the strongest in our party—possibly the strongest among all players in Nusantara. It's a shame the skill has such a long cooldown. I can only use it once a week. I have to use it wisely. I feel bad for looking at Bima's Status, but this will help our party. Sorry, Bima." I thought.

I invited everyone to discuss our next move. "So, what should we do next?"

"Isn't it obvious? We hunt more monsters! Hahaha…" Bima joked.

"We're still in the same party, and stronger monsters are definitely ahead. I think we need to cooperate better so this party can become the best out there," Roro said.

"Roro's right. We need to work better as a team and train harder to get stronger!" Loka added.

[Party has been disbanded by Party Leader]

"Eh… Why did you disband the party?" I asked Arya, surprised.

"Isn't it obvious? The system doesn't require us to stay in a party anymore. So I disbanded it," Arya replied.

"Ahh, you're always like this, Arya!" I said, still annoyed.

"Haha, relax, Jay. Even if our party is gone, friendship doesn't disappear, right? We can still work together on future Quests," Bima encouraged me.

"Bima's right! We can still be friends and face any challenges together," Loka agreed.

"I'm happy to be friends with all of you!" Roro said cheerfully.

"Everyone…" I felt a bit emotional.

Even though our party had been disbanded, we all agreed to continue our adventure together. We would always be there for one another, facing whatever dangers came in future quests.

It was already evening, and we rested at the medical post. I thought there might be another Quest, but nothing appeared as night fell. So we all went to sleep to be ready for the next day.

---

The Next Morning…

At the crack of dawn, I saw Arya packing his bag—looked like he was preparing to leave. I approached him.

"Where are you going so early, Arya? Are you planning to leave this place?" I asked.

"Do I have to tell you wherever I go?"

"Well, no. But the others might ask about you."

Loka, who had woken up, walked over to us. "Jay? Arya? You guys are already up?"

"Loka, you're awake too?" I replied.

"Why are you carrying a bag, Arya? Are you going somewhere?" Loka asked.

Not long after, Bima and Roro woke up and joined us. Now we were all gathered.

Yawn "You guys are already awake?" Loka asked Bima and Roro.

"Yeah, I usually wake up early. Why is everyone gathered here?" Roro asked, confused.

"Haha, great! Since we're all up, let's go together," I said, trying to rally everyone.

"Hey! When did I say you could come along?" Arya replied, not too thrilled.

"Well then, let's get ready," said Loka.

"You two…" Arya looked at me and Loka.

"Where are we going?" asked Roro.

"Oh yeah, good point—where are we going, Arya?" Loka asked.

"Trowulan," Arya answered, finally giving in.

---

London, Britain

"Wow, so this is the Tower Dungeon? It's huge. There must be powerful monsters inside!"

"No matter how strong they are, we'll defeat them!"

"Haha, you're right. Especially with the King with us. We can't lose, right, Your Majesty?"

"Let's go!"

---

We departed at dawn, using a military vehicle borrowed from the post. Bima was the driver. We had prepared food and weapons because the trip from Jakarta to Trowulan would take a while—maybe 2 to 3 days, since we didn't know what challenges we'd face on the way.

"Hey Arya, why do you want to go to Trowulan?" I asked.

"Don't you remember the news on TV? There are 5 Tower Dungeons in Nusantara, and one of them is in Trowulan. I want to see what it's like," Arya answered.

"You sure it's just curiosity? Don't you want to conquer the Tower Dungeon?" Loka said.

"That's none of your business!"

"Haha, you won't be able to conquer it alone. We'll help you," Loka replied.

"My sister is right. We should conquer that Tower together. I also want to beat all the monsters inside! Hahaha…" Bima added.

"Guys! I found something on my phone—Trowulan was once the capital of the Majapahit Empire," Roro said.

"Wow, Majapahit? The great empire that ruled Nusantara? That's amazing!"

"Right, Bima. The empire that unified the archipelago," Roro added.

Majapahit was a great ancient empire known throughout the Nusantara. Its capital was located in Trowulan. The kingdom's territory spanned nearly the entire archipelago. The first king and founder was Maharaja Raden Wijaya.

The place we're heading to was once the heart of that great empire—one of the most historical locations in all of Nusantara.

"How long until we get to Trowulan?" Roro asked.

"I think 2 to 3 days. If there are no problems, maybe even 1 day," Bima replied.

"If you don't mind, would you all like to stop by my house first?" Roro asked.

"Where is your house, Roro?" Loka asked.

"In Parangtritis, Kak Loka."

"Awesome, we can hit the beach before heading to Trowulan. Sounds like a vacation—are you guys in?" Loka said excitedly.

"Yes, let's go!" everyone replied at once.

"Hey! Since when did you decide everything?" Arya scolded Loka.

"Come on, we've been through so much. Don't you want to relax a little? A short break won't hurt anyone," Loka reasoned.

"She's right," I agreed.

"Fine, do what you want. But we're only staying one night," Arya relented.

"Hooray!" Everyone cheered.
