Chapter 7 - Chaos

I quickly scrambled up the large demons form and saw he had hardened his hands. The flesh was ragged and torn around the large jagged metal chunk he was holding up even as Dragon raced by. He moved low to the ground arms wrapped around his sisters carrier, and then Skull tensed his whole body. He used a rush of his energy, his own magic, in a hard push to shove the metal up. I slid my arms into loops on the rig he wore specially for carrying me as he surged away from both walls.

The jostle was annoying as I struggled to clip the chest harness. Once it snapped into place the ones that attached to my bandoleer were rather easy and I shifted finally focusing on the chaos around us. We had gotten an unfortunate tunnel, but it wasn't out of expectations. I closed my eyes and soon the familiar smell of sweet roses flowed around us.

"Just follow protocol C." I spoke softly, but I knew the air scented with my energy signature carried my voice as well. My affinity with air was incalculable, I could see everything around me and had honed the ability to extremes. Through the air, while completely focused I could map out our surroundings and Seika would know which path was what we needed quickly.

'There is a cavernous opening four kilometers ahead on the left.' I alerted

'Yes~' Her answer was shorter

"Opening. Left."

Dragon growled scales flashing aross his face in a ripple of power.

I hit both clips sliding to the ground even as the air rippled around Skull. I knew from experience this ment he was about to rage. I was right behind him as he surged towards the Ogre, my goal though was the guy with the sword.

The sound of metal clashing was a familiar sound as I slid into the cool water of my soul, time to have fun.

I twisted my arm kocking his sword away with my daggers. I slammed the hilt of one dagger into his stomach even as he grabbed my wrist. He perked my arm pulling me toward him even as he swung his sword. I deflected with my dagger, but he was physically stronger. The sword cut into my shoulder, it was witn less force that he had intended but still a clean hit. He had loosened his hand on my wrist though, and blinked huge surprised eyes at me.

My dagger was lodged in his heart, perfectly stabbed between ribs. His own choice had given me the opportunity to kill him.

"Ho.....how....." I watched as blood bubbled from his lips. A quick twist and he coughed blood, I blinked a few times rapidly as some blocked my vision temporarily. I turned, Skull had already killed his first and apparently only target as he....did his usual. I blinked a few times when I noticed he was eating the heart and quickly looked to Dragon.
