Chapter 37 - Blackrock class carrier

Ellara forced herself upright, her cybernetic eye flickering dangerously with red overheat warnings. The shadow of the **Blackrock-class Heavy Assault Carrier** loomed over the battlefield, its **'Impenetrable Wall' heavy armor** gleaming coldly under the starlight. "Saint Dove Core, analyze enemy weaknesses," she rasped, fingers pounding out emergency commands on the console. "The *Blackrock* is equipped with the **'Everlasting Bastion' self-repair system**, making it resistant to conventional weapons…" Saint Dove Core's projection flickered erratically. "However, a 0.3-second charging gap was detected in its gravity turbine." The hull of *The Nameless* shuddered violently as the first salvo from the enemy struck. All eight **Worldbreaker cannons** fired simultaneously — the shockwave sent the FG3000 reeling. Its shields shattered like glass under the impact of 500kg warheads. "X10 engineering vessel — deploy all countermeasure flares!" Ellara shouted into the comm. "Target their sensor arrays!" A storm of silver chaff burst across space, forming a temporary shield. The *Blackrock*'s second volley veered off course through the interference cloud — but its secondary batteries had already locked onto *Nameless*. "Commander!" The FG3000 captain's image suddenly cut onto the main screen. "We can buy you thirty seconds!" His frigate surged forward, trailing smoke, launching every remaining missile. Ellara didn't stop him — she saw the resolve in his eyes. When the FG3000 vanished in a fireball from the *Blackrock*'s return fire, her nails dug deep into her palm. **"Now! Full speed ahead!"** Like an arrow released from a bowstring, *The Nameless* shot toward the enemy carrier. The Lyman Crystals embedded in its bow began to glow blinding white. Saint Dove Core issued one final warning: **"Initiating Quantum Breach Protocol will reduce hull integrity below 40%..."** **"Proceed."** Space twisted under the resonance of the Lyman Crystals. In an instant, *The Nameless* crossed three thousand kilometers — appearing directly behind the *Blackrock*'s engine exhaust port, right at that vulnerable 0.3-second window. **"Fire!"** Every remaining weapon fired in unison, striking the same point. The enemy's self-repair nanobots couldn't respond fast enough. The gravity turbine collapsed under the chain reaction, leaving the massive warship spinning helplessly in space — though its Worldbreakers still attempted to lock on. **"Warning! Detection of 'Shadowhunter' kill-missile launch signal!"** Saint Dove Core's voice rang with unprecedented urgency. Ellara watched the streak of death approaching at 0.9c — and smiled faintly. She pressed the comm button. "Kirah… looks like I'll be letting you down this time…" At the moment of impact, a brilliant blue energy barrier erupted around the ship. Unknown to them, the photon water from Mirror Lake Planet had been secretly integrated into the shield matrix by Saint Dove Core. The missile veered off in a dazzling display of refracted light. **"Commander!"** A surprised shout came through the channel from the X10 vessel. **"The Corridor network is destabilizing!"** Ellara turned to the viewport — and beheld an awe-inspiring sight. From the direction of the Wastes of Time, countless temporal rifts wove together like a net. Emerging from these fractures were familiar silhouettes — more *Nameless*-class ships, more FG3000 frigates, even warships from futures she had only glimpsed in visions. **"Temporal Fragments…"** Saint Dove Core's projection stabilized. **"They've triggered quantum superposition!"** The privateers aboard the *Blackrock* clearly saw it too. Panic spread among the fleet as the first alternate-universe *Nameless* opened fire. Seizing the moment, Ellara gave the order: **"All ships — target the *Blackrock*'s command tower. Final strike — execute!"** Fires rained down from across timelines. Under the paradoxical stress of overlapping realities, the *Blackrock*'s armor lost coherence — and finally, in a silent burst of quantum annihilation, it disintegrated into raw particles. When silence returned to the battlefield, Ellara slumped back into her command chair, exhausted. Saint Dove Core was already reporting damage status — but she merely gazed out into the stars, lost in thought. Her cybernetic eye caught something unusual — deep within the wreckage, a black box marked with the Kuki Industries insignia pulsed with rhythmic signals. "It seems…" she murmured, "this dance still has one last song." *The Nameless*, battered but undying, drifted slowly toward the floating graveyard of secrets. Starlight from the Shadow Corridor reflected off her blood-streaked uniform. In her mechanical eye, new streams of data flickered like distant constellations — each one a clue to the next mystery waiting in the void.
