Chapter 19 - The Wedding Journey

The morning air was fragrant with jasmine and marigold. Mani adjusted his sherwani nervously, glancing at Laya, who stood radiant in her bridal attire. Every fold of her saree shimmered in the sunlight, and her eyes sparkled like twin stars.

"Come, come closer, my love,

The world fades away when you are near."

Krishna, Gajanan, Bharath, Ashik, and Hari ran around, organizing flowers, decorating the courtyard, and occasionally teasing Mani with playful jabs. Monal and Sunitha sprinkled petals from above, while Akshara, Pooja, and Anasuya ensured every lamp and rangoli was perfect.

"Your eyes speak the language of love,

Your smile is like the first rays of the sun.

Every heartbeat longs for you,

Every breath is filled with your fragrance."

The elders of the family smiled approvingly as Mani approached Laya, the ceremonial threads and garlands in place. Each step felt surreal; the courtyard seemed to pulse with the rhythm of love, friendship, and celebration.

"The moonlight pales in comparison to your beauty,

The flowers envy the sweetness of your voice.

Every step you take creates a melody,

Every glance you give sets my heart racing."

Ranganathan pretended to be the royal trumpeter, waving a colorful scarf, while Krishna and Gajanan created a playful fanfare with imaginary drums. The Telugu friends added their own energetic dance moves, and the Tamil friends clapped rhythmically, creating a lively, magical atmosphere.

"Let me hold you in my arms forever,

Let the world disappear around us."

Mani finally reached Laya, taking her hands in his. The chaos around them seemed to fade — petals, ribbons, music, and laughter blended into a soft, warm melody. Their friends' playful antics only added to the joy, turning every moment into a cinematic spectacle of love and celebration.

"Come, come closer, my love,

The world fades away when you are near."

As the priest chanted the sacred verses, Mani and Laya exchanged garlands, smiles, and gentle glances. Every beat of the drums, every whisper of the wind, and every cheer from the friends echoed their union — a magical merging of hearts, families, and worlds.

The courtyard was alive with color, laughter, and music — Tamil and Telugu characters alike danced, twirled, and celebrated, making the wedding a vibrant festival of love, friendship, and destiny fulfilled.

Mani held Laya close, feeling the warmth of her hand in his. The world outside ceased to exist. Only her smile, her eyes, and the magic of the moment remained.

"Come, come closer, my love,

The world fades away when you are near."
