The aether tram station stood eerily quiet, save for the occasional crackle of unstable energy from the levitation rails. The three officials remained at their posts, standing rigid like statues, their eyes sweeping over the platform. Beside them, the horned creature loomed, its presence casting an oppressive air over the area.
Then, from deep within the island's depths, a blazing wall of fire surged forward. It roared like a living beast, devouring the space between itself and the stationed guards. The officials barely managed to dive away in time, their yells lost beneath the inferno's roar. The horned creature, however, did not flinch. Instead of avoiding it, it turned and faced the fire head-on.
The flames washed over its massive form, flickering harmlessly against its thick, obsidian-like hide. The creature let out a guttural snarl before breaking into a sprint, charging toward the source of the attack.
