Last night I had been texting her again and again about tomorrow's meeting. I should join myself as a secretary. I start to call her, shit she is not even picking my damn call. Something is going on am getting worried, I don't know why am feeling in such a way. I can't stand here, I need to search for her.
I had put tracking chip on her id card if she has the card means I can see the location through my phone. I check my phone its showing the Rodriguez mansion but why she has been there. Its the house of Neweast CEO George's house, why did she go there? I leave the house and rush towards the car. I drove till the house but her location is somewhere else now. Its showing park which is nearby, I drove till there. I can see her from far, she is sitting on the bench. She is watching the Star's, her eyes are filled with tears. But something is burning inside me, am getting angry but I can't say why.
I drop her home then I left from there. My mind still wondering why she was in rodriguez house. But the fact that she said she went to meet dad is true I could see through her eyes. Maybe her dad works in that mansion.
I go to sleep but something is in mind maybe the image of Mia. She was crying in the park, why should I even care about her.
I woke up at 5 am, my head feels heavy. I go for shower and after that I move towards hall to have breakfast. Usually I never skip gym but today we got very important meeting. So I have to over check everything. I can hit gym in evening too.
I pull off my car and start to drive towards office. It already 7: 30, I need Mia to check all the work. I reach her apartment because I don't want her to be late. I knock the door, she took 5 min to open the door.
She is still not ready, her face looks very dull. She suddenly shut the door on my face. How dare she? I knock the door.
"Mia, if you don't come out now am gonna leave. Then you come by yourself" it came out more rashly than I wanted.
She slowly opened the door, I wanted to scream at her but I control my anger.
"Get ready fast, we need to go early"
"Okay, come in "
I move inside, I remove my shoes. I take a look of whole house its very neat, I didn't expect this neat from her. Her small hall gives floral vibes, some portraits of her with animal but weird there is no family portrait here.
Maybe it will be in her bedroom, she is gone to get ready in her room. There is small book shelve in side, I check the book all seems to be novel. There is another book which catches my eyes, it seems like diary. I am not the person to disturb someone's privacy but I will just see the front page. Some photos fell on ground as I tried to open the book, my eyes fell on the photo of us. When we were lovers in high school, there is lot of my photos here. What is she planning to do with this? My heart beat is raising and as well as my anger.
She does not deserve to keep my photos,
"What are you doing there? Why do you have that photos in your hand?" She is standing behind me, I turn to see her. She seems to be afraid that I have found this photos.
"Why do you have my photos?" She doesn't answer me. I collect all the photos of mine and ours. I take them to balcony, I start to burn all the photos. She stares me standing in the corner.
I see all our memories turning into ashes, i move out the house. I leave her there itself and I came to office. My mood even got worse after this, I directly head towards office.
After 15 minutes Mia enters the cabin,
"Sir everything thing is set in conference room, everyone is looking forward for you"
"Okay"
I move towards the conference hall but Mia seems like she is not going to attend the meeting. She has returned to her usual working place, whatever I enter the conference room .
