Sinhasan (The Throne)

Ancient Times – The Era of Kings and Kingdoms:

In the ancient times, when kings ruled and battles were fought for supremacy, there existed many powerful kingdoms. Among all these kingdoms, there was one kingdom that stood above the rest: Mayana.

Mayana was the largest and most dominant kingdom, and at the heart of Mayana was the Sinhasan(Throne). It was a symbol of ultimate power and authority. The Sinhasan was the seat of the Samrat(The Emperor), the supreme ruler who reigned over the entire land.

Within Mayana, there were seven major provinces, each ruled by a May-Raja:

1. Eldor

2. Sylan

3. Mavren

4. Vyrin

5. Krelan

6. Lunera

7. Nivran

These provinces were collectively known as the May-Rajya(State), and their rulers were referred to as the May-Rajas(Kings). In total, there were 7 May-Rajas and 5 May-Mantris(Ministers)(advisors), making a total of 12 key members in the council of Mayana.

Beyond the May-Rajya, there were many smaller States that came under the influence of Mayana. These were called the Sataar Rajya, lesser kingdoms that pledged their allegiance to the supremacy of Mayana.

Among these 12 members, one was chosen to sit on the Sinhasan and hold the title of Samrat, the Emperor, who ruled over all the Rajyas and their rulers. The Samrat had the ultimate authority, and their command was absolute.
