I had been running, big wolves chasing me for a long time. My breathing had been hard, and I had almost fallen over, and the blue things wouldn't go away, their glow revealing my location. It kept saying things I didn't understand, and I hated it, I hated how it made the two little people fly around me every now and then. They kept pointing at the blue thing while I was inside that log until I tried to swat at it. Something happened and my body hurt before I passed out to the sound of something big hitting the ground. I never expected to wake up after that, so imagine my surprise when I found a strange painful tingling running trough me while two people figures talked near me. One was a short ear with a weird stick thing stuck on his face that he didn't remove for some reason while the other was a tamed wolf one. The weird ones that spoke the people's language and used the blue box's.
A part of me wanted to make a break for it, but the two of them seemed stronger than I was by a lot, so I didn't see the chances I had. Instead I continued to remain still as I hoped they would get bored and not eat me. In this I ended up falling asleep, which confused me. Pain made sleep hard, so why didn't the hurt from before make it too hard to sleep?
They must have done something to me. The wounds from before were gone, but they had wrapped strange things onto me. I could still move, but they brushed against my fur in strange ways. I hated it. However I was also worried that they may come back, so I waited for a moment before I moved, my ear twitching before I sat up and began to rip at the bandages with my teeth. The two little things kept flying around me saying things as I flicked my tail at them in annoyance. I had finally freed my arm when I turned and saw something strange. There was a small hog, no larger than me so it must have been young, and on its head it seemed to have some strange thing that looked like it was made of metal.
The little hog seemed to be strutting along as I licked my lips in excitement. Seems like breakfast had walked to me all on its own, a bit of fortune on an otherwise terrible day. I made my way over to a corner out of sight as I began to get ready to pounce. The little things kept flying and waving their paws in my way as I resisted the urge to let out a small growl, just in case It alerted breakfast. As I began to get ready I felt something touch my paw, but I didn't look at it, knowing that even twitching would give breakfast a chance to know I was here. Even worse was the fact that the little blue screen appeared again.

Before I could figure out what that meant I found myself getting jerked out from where I had been hiding. I thrashed, trying to free my paws, but they were bound by something as I jerked and swayed hissing and gnashing, hoping that it would be enough to scare whatever thing was holding me into loosening its grip. However it didn't and I found myself being held up in the air. I spun slowly as I jerked as I heard what sounded to be people voices. As I spun I saw 3 peoples. One was a shorter with white hair and a strange blue thing coming from her fingertips and wrapping around my legs. Next to her stood a much taller one with Brown hair and a strange purple thing on her left arm that felt ominous and dangerous. She seemed to be talking to the white hair short one. Lastly was one with dirty blonde hair and a tanned complexion. She smelled oddly of bird and had feathers all over her. This must mean she is one of the domesticated ones.
"What should we do, she can't move and if she dies we have to go back to the heavens!"
The little thing with a rose in its hair yelled as it flew circles around my head in a panic, much to my annoyance.
"Relax Sera, only she can understand us because of her skill, so we can come up with a plan right in front of them and they wouldn't even know."
The other little one with a ratty coat said as it floated slower than the rose one.
"Dude, she doesn't talk to us, I don't think she would listen much less work with us to make a plan!"
"I do talk to you, I tell you to shut up"
I Barked, but I had found out long ago that they couldn't understand anything I said, and they wouldn't leave me alone. As I hung there I heard someone speak, and it was something I actually understood.
"I carry you for miles and have my friends use rather expensive healing potions on you and you tell us to shut up, kind of rude don't you think, also why aren't you speaking common?"
I tried to whip around, but from where I hung, I could only slowly turn to see the wolf from before who had talked with the stick-on face person. They stared me down as it seemed the other peoples were surprised as they looked at the wolf in confusion.
"You can speak? How, most tamed cannot understand our language."
I asked, surprised but cautious. The wolf shrugged as they turned and spoke something in a language that I couldn't understand that was tame speak. The strings around my feet released as I scrambled to my feet and lunged back barking. The people seemed worried before finally stepping out of the room and allowing the wolf to walk in fully.
"I grew up in a tribe of naturalists, so learning the woodland language was part of my upbringing, and since you are using it, I can only assume you are in one of the naturalist tribes, which chief do you serve?"
I gave him a look of confusion as I barked
"I serve no one!"
He stared at me for a moment as the blue box appeared again as I swiped at it annoyed. The wolf gave me a puzzled look as he asked.
"Are you going to close that or not?"
I barked a laugh at him as I glared.
"It appeared almost 8 years ago, and I have never been able to get rid of it, I would slay even a bear to be rid of this foul thing!"
The wolf stared at me, a look of surprise on his face as he asked a strange question.
"How much time pass are you?"
I took a moment to think. The word he had used was for time passing, so his question was confusing, as normally questions like that would be used to ask how much time before dark.
"I do not know what you mean."
I said, starting to calm down slightly as it seems whatever hostility the wolf had before was dimmed as they seemed more confused than anything. However I was not so foolish as to not prepare myself to lunge.
"Uh, how can I ask this? How many winters have you survived?"
He finally asked looking at me with a strange curiosity in his eyes. I thought back to my life, how my siblings had seemed to age so rapidly around me and die while I remained youthful.
"I have lived for 17 winters with this coming winter being my 18th. I am aware of my curse of blue, and how I am cursed to age beyond my kin."
The wolf stared at me for a moment as he said.
"Repeat after me and watch how my mouth moves to say this word. System."
In front of the wolf, his own blue screen appeared as he continued to look past it at me. I was a bit skeptical, but I tried it nevertheless. It took a few tries to say the word right, but as I did the screen closed. For the first time in 7 long winters, the cursed glowing blue was gone. I stared at the wolf as I found a well of emotions rising in my chest. The wolf repeated the word and his own screen closed as he looked me over for a moment. He made his way over to the door and opened it a bit as he spoke something to the people outside before he closed it and turned back to me.
"I think I know what this curse that is effecting you is."
I jumped up as a glimmer of hope shot through my chest.
"Really!? What is it, how do I break free from it!?"
I demanded as I jumped from my corner and ran over to the wolf. He looked down at me as he took a moment before he said.
"You are something called a natural fullblood, and I'm sorry, but its not something you can be cured of."
