Chapter 5: The Rise of the Emperor
The moment Yash killed one of the Elder Gods, the remaining four burst into uncontrollable rage. Without hesitation, they formed a powerful Divine Formation — an ancient strategy passed down through the ages, said to be unbreakable.
But Yash merely stared at the formation...
He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and raised his hand toward the sky.
"Break."
And with just that word, the mighty formation shattered — like a glass tower collapsing under a storm.
Now enraged, the four Elders unleashed their Divine Styles:
The first rained down searing pillars of fire.
The second twisted time itself around Yash.
The third chanted a soul-ripping mantra.
The fourth tried to infect Yash's mind with illusions.
But Yash didn't even flinch.
He withstood every attack, unmoved.
And one by one, he slaughtered each of the Elder Gods.
The battlefield fell silent.
He turned to the crowd of remaining gods, his eyes burning with divine fury.
With a calm but thunderous voice, he declared:
"I don't know who you are…
But just looking at you all makes something inside me boil with rage."
Then, with a single motion, he unleashed a devastating strike —
50 gods fell instantly.
---
Elsewhere, Vaikral stood deep in thought.
He knew now was the moment to act.
He recalled a forbidden memory —
The Divine Seal — an ancient summoning technique that could bring back a being long lost in time:
The Emperor.
But summoning him came at a great cost:
50% of every god's remaining lifespan.
And yet, the gods agreed. They had no other choice.
The ritual began. The Divine Seal glowed in mid-air, humming with dark energy.
The sky darkened. Thunder roared. Winds howled.
And then — the sky tore open.
From the heavens descended an ancient being cloaked in dark flame…
The Emperor had arrived.
His very presence crushed the ground beneath him.
Even the gods around him fell to their knees.
Even Yash — for the first time — felt the pressure.
Narrator's Voice:
"This was no ordinary god.
Once rival to the Supreme God himself…
But betrayed and wounded in another world,
He had died… or so the gods thought."
Now reborn — controlled by Vaikral's seal —
The Emperor stood, filled with fury.
"Forgive me," he growled, "but you will not leave here alive."
---
The battle between Yash and the Emperor began —
a war that shook the heavens.
Yash fought valiantly, channeling the Supreme God's power,
but blow after blow took its toll.
His wounds deepened. His breath faltered.
Even with all that power… he was falling behind.
---
Narrator's Voice returns:
"Though Yash carries the Supreme God's divine strength,
he holds only a fragment.
To unlock the full potential…
he must journey through the three sacred worlds
and gather the scattered pieces of the Supreme God's essence."
---
Barely standing, Yash called out to his system—
"Why… why can't I win?"
The system replied calmly:
"Because this is not the complete power.
You must venture across the Three Worlds.
Only then… will your true strength awaken."
Suddenly, deep within his memory,
Yash recalled a hidden Sutra —
a sacred passage left by the Supreme God.
It could teleport him to any realm instantly.
He stood, battered and broken,
looked into the eyes of the Emperor and the gods, and said—
"I'm leaving for now…
But when I return, your end will come.
The Emperor's head…
And the end of your so-called divine order —
All of it is destined."
---
The Emperor roared—
"You will not escape, child!"
But it was too late.
Yash recited the Sutra,
his body bathed in golden light.
In the blink of an eye —
He vanished.
---
The scene shifts.
The gods are stunned.
Vaikral, however, smiles in the shadows.
He mutters to himself:
"Strange… The Emperor should have disappeared after the summon…
But he's still here."
That's when the truth hits him—
The Seal hasn't ended.
The Emperor is trapped in this realm…
And now, only Vaikral controls his fate.
He laughs darkly—
"That child can never defeat me now…
Not when the Emperor stands at my side."
---
Far away, across the stars…
Yash appears in a new land —
A realm unknown, filled with trials beyond imagination.
But his journey...
Had only just begun.
