Doctor Strange looked increasingly bewildered as the corresponding questions appeared on the big screen. He had thought it would be some kind of challenge when the Quiz System announced the start of a new round.
But this?
It's utterly ridiculous.
"Doctor Strange?"
Following that, Strange couldn't help but focus on the last option, "I'm also in the options? Why am I called Doctor Strange?"
"Chopped off Thanos's head? That's complete nonsense!"
Star-Lord couldn't help but let out a snicker.
He'd followed Yondu the Ravager, roaming the stars for years. He'd heard Thanos' name a thousand times.
Thanos was a cosmic overlord, a tyrant who ruled countless planets. What kind of person could take down a titan like that?
It was absurd.
"Doctor Strange, and… you," Captain America said, turning his gaze to Strange and Star-Lord.
"Peter Quill!" Star-Lord declared at once. "But I have a much cooler name. I prefer you call me that. Legendary outlaw, Star-Lord."
"I remember now," Tony Stark chimed in, turning to stare at Star-Lord. "This guy showed up in Endgame, though he was just a background character. That's why I didn't remember until now."
Hearing Tony Stark's words, everyone present felt a bit friendlier toward Star-Lord, and a little less wary.
Well, this was a future teammate.
It's just that, how unreliable do these teammates seem?
"Endgame? What's that? What are you even talking about?" Star-Lord was completely baffled. "So you brought me here for what, exactly?"
"Mr. Star-Lord, please calm down. Mr. Steve is about to explain, isn't he?" Strange said to Star-Lord.
Star-Lord didn't say anything else, instead focusing his attention on Captain America, waiting for his answer.
"Both of you, the reason you're in this mysterious space isn't because of anything we did. Like us, you were chosen by the Quiz System."
Under their gazes, Captain America briefly explained the Quiz System to them.
"Mr. Steve, are you sure you're not joking with me?" Strange couldn't believe it, eyeing Captain America with suspicion.
Even Star-Lord, despite having seen all sorts of incredible things in the stars, almost burst out laughing when he heard about this Quiz System.
How could there possibly be a Quiz System like that in the world?
"Dude, do I look like an idiot or something?" Star-Lord shrugged, chuckling as he spoke to Strange. "They're actually trying to brush me off with this ridiculous excuse."
"Honestly, yeah, you do." Strange sized up Star-Lord, nodding in agreement.
This guy just looked like he had a low IQ, and when he opened his mouth, he was a complete goofball. Although Strange was a scientist and didn't usually judge people based on appearances, he really thought this guy was an idiot.
"Hey, what's with the attitude?" Star-Lord's face immediately fell.
"No offense, I'm just saying what I feel. Besides, I didn't bring it up, you asked me, right?" Strange shrugged.
"Doctor Strange, Mr. Star-Lord, don't jump to conclusions. You'll see soon enough." Black Widow said in a low voice to the two of them.
"Mr. Star-Lord." Captain America continued in a serious tone, staring at Star-Lord and asking, "You seem to know Thanos."
"Man, are you guys living in a cave? Who in the universe doesn't know Thanos, the Mad Titan?" Star-Lord shook his head repeatedly. "He's a lunatic. Wait a minute, why are you asking? And this question... Who chopped off Thanos's head? Are you Thanos's enemies? What planet is this?"
"Midgard!" Thor answered Star-Lord from the side. "The realm of Odin, the Allfather. Also known as Earth."
"Earth?" Star-Lord was taken aback, trying to recall what planet that was.
But he couldn't remember.
"Odin?" Doctor Strange turned his gaze to Thor. "Your getup does resemble Thor, the God of Thunder, from the myths."
"Indeed, it is I." Thor chuckled.
Doctor Strange: "..."
This must be some guy going through a phase, right?
"Doctor Strange, Mr. Star-Lord, we can discuss any questions after the quiz. But for now, let's begin."
Captain America spoke up at this moment, reminding everyone.
Tony Stark, Thor, Black Widow, and the others stopped paying attention to Strange and Star-Lord and turned their focus to the big screen.
"I don't want to play any quiz games with you guys," Star-Lord shook his head, looking like, "I don't play with idiots," and turned to leave.
The result was, of course, a foregone conclusion; after a trial, this guy found that he couldn't leave this place at all.
He could only return, crestfallen.
Strange silently shook his head, becoming even more certain that Star-Lord wasn't very bright.
He had been performing surgery on someone on the operating table one moment, and the next, he had inexplicably appeared here. Such a method was bizarre and unsolvable. How could he possibly leave so easily?
Even if he wanted to leave, he would probably have to follow the other party's requirements and complete this inexplicable quiz game.
Star-Lord didn't know how Strange had gotten here, but seeing the gun in the other man's hand and the dust all over him, it looked like he'd been fighting someone.
He figured Strange's situation was probably similar to his own.

"This question is a bit strange," Thor said, staring at the big screen. "Didn't Thanos die after Stark snapped his fingers? How is it that his head was chopped off?"
"Even Thanos should be dead after having his head chopped off, right? So, is this question telling us... Thanos was killed twice?"
This was indeed a contradiction to the information they already knew.
"These are probably two different Thanoses," Tony Stark said after a moment of thought, addressing everyone.
"We've already seen two Captain Americas and two Tony Starks, so having two Thanoses isn't that strange, is it?"
Black Widow shrugged as well.
Everyone temporarily agreed on this point.
Whether it was time travel or parallel world travel, in short, regardless of the method, the situation of killing Thanos twice existed.
"The question says that Thanos's head was chopped off, which means the weapon used by the person in the option is a sharp weapon," Captain America continued to analyze. "And my weapon is a shield."

Speaking of which, Tony Stark turned his gaze to Captain America. "Since you can lift Thor's hammer, it's not impossible for you to lift Thor's axe."
"Don't tell me you're more used to your shield. In Endgame, you used that hammer combo with such fluidity, who's going to believe you didn't practice it?"
"It's entirely possible you'd use a more convenient weapon when one appears."
"My future armor is a nanotech suit. It can form into a shield, big fists, and blades, of course."
"We don't know much about Doctor Strange. It wouldn't be strange if he used some weapons, right?"
"Stark is right," Black Widow nodded. "Just considering the possibility of chopping off Thanos's head, all the options are viable."
At first glance, it was impossible to eliminate any of the four options.
"Everyone, may I offer my opinion?" Strange tentatively suggested from the side.
He had already made his decision. Since he was trapped in this Quiz System for the time being, he might as well participate in the quiz.
If he didn't complete the Quiz System, Strange feared he wouldn't be able to leave.
Furthermore, Strange himself was actually very curious about this Quiz System. He also wanted to know what would happen if he participated.
"Of course, feel free to speak your mind!" Captain America immediately said to Strange.

"Me? This Doctor Strange should be me, right?" Strange glanced around at everyone. After getting confirmation, he fell into thought.
"I have a female colleague I'm close to. I believe we have feelings for each other. I don't know if that counts… Well, never mind, that doesn't count."
The question seemed to have reached an impasse.
Because both Captain America and Tony Stark had people who were very important to them. If those people died at Thanos's hands, they would naturally harbor deep hatred for Thanos.
Because of this hatred, chopping off Thanos's head would be logical.
But the key problem now was that everyone didn't know if these crucial people would be killed by Thanos in the future.

"Everyone, I have some ideas," Tony Stark said, looking up at everyone after a moment, his eyes shining.
"Although we don't know why there are two Thanos, the most likely explanation is time travel."
Everyone in the room exchanged glances, generally agreeing.
Although the situation of two Thanos wasn't the only possibility in theory, no matter which one it was, it all seemed incredibly unbelievable and basically impossible.
But time travel was something everyone already knew about, something that had actually happened!
So the most natural guess was that time travel had led to the appearance of two Thanos.
Although it couldn't be guaranteed to be one hundred percent, this possibility did seem to be the greatest at the moment.
"Stark, go on," Captain America said, his eyes fixed on Tony Stark, urging him.
"We don't know which of the two times Thanos was killed happened before, or after, but one thing we can be sure of is that, whichever one was before, time travel must have gone into the past."
There's no doubt about it, Thanos is dead. Traveling to the future wouldn't work because there's no Thanos there anymore. How could they kill him again?
Without a doubt, they need to travel to the past.
