T'Challa's classification was perfectly logical.After giving it some thought, no one raised any objections.
Instead, everyone followed his line of reasoning and began analyzing the situation accordingly.
"Actually, what we discussed at the beginning was exactly the first scenario T'Challa mentioned," Captain America said, sweeping his gaze across the group. "The person who proposed that idea would also be the primary inventor of the time machine. As for this possibility… we can't draw any conclusions yet."
After all, no one could possibly know whether Tony Stark or Bruce Banner would study quantum mechanics in the future.
"Then let's look at the second scenario first," Thor suggested, picking up where Captain America left off.
"But isn't that even harder to analyze?" Peter Parker immediately frowned. "Evidence beyond theory? This is time travel we're talking about. What kind of evidence could there be? Unless someone actually traveled through time! But that's impossible before a time machine is invented, right?"
"Correction, kid," Tony Stark said casually. "Before a time machine is invented, someone can travel through time."
Peter Parker froze.
"But I get what you mean," Tony continued. "What you're really saying is that using scientific methods to time travel before a time machine exists is impossible."
"Traveling through time, and traveling through time via science—those are two very different things."
"…Mr. Stark, are you saying someone can time travel using a non-scientific method?"Peter's eyes widened in disbelief.
That kind of thing actually existed in this world?That was absurdly outrageous.
"Kid," Tony said meaningfully, "let me quote something: Forget everything you think you know."
Tony was, of course, referencing the words Baron Mordo once said when Doctor Strange first arrived at Kamar-Taj.Not the exact quote—but the meaning was the same.
The person Tony was referring to was naturally Stephen Strange.After all, the future Sorcerer Supreme would eventually gain the ability to reverse time.
However, it was obvious that Strange's time manipulation relied on magic, not science—so it couldn't be used as a foundation for building a time machine.
"But wait—no, that's not right!"
Suddenly, Tony Stark's eyes lit up.
He had thought of a critical detail—one that might very well be the key to solving this question.
"Yes. That's it. Everything makes sense now."
The more Tony thought about it, the more certain he became. A spark of excitement flashed in his eyes.
"What is it?" Thor urged impatiently. "Stark, stop teasing us. What did you figure out?"
"Lang," Tony said decisively. "The answer is Lang."
Everyone blinked.
"We all know Lang is Ant-Man—he can shrink himself," Tony continued. "But have we ever thought about what happens if he shrinks himself to the extreme? Molecular scale. Atomic scale. Subatomic scale… and even smaller."
"What would happen then?"
"What would happen?" Captain America asked, clearly confused.
He wasn't the only one. Everyone looked at Tony with curiosity, including T'Challa and Scott Lang himself.
While both of them had decent scientific knowledge, this topic was far beyond their understanding.
They had officially entered Tony Stark's domain.
"You people seriously don't know this?" Tony sighed, looking exhausted."This is why I prefer talking to Banner. Talking to you guys is hard work."
Then he finally explained:
"If you shrink yourself beyond the subatomic level, you enter the Quantum Realm."
The Quantum Realm.
Those four words instantly lit up everyone's eyes.
In the previous footage, the time machine's operating principle had been clearly shown—it was based on quantum mechanics.
And now they knew that Scott Lang could enter the Quantum Realm in the future.
The answer suddenly became obvious.
"So Scott entered the Quantum Realm in the future," T'Challa said thoughtfully."I don't fully understand what the Quantum Realm is like, but since the time machine relies on quantum mechanics, it stands to reason that the Quantum Realm involves spacetime laws."
"Scott must have experienced—or at least witnessed—something related to time travel inside the Quantum Realm. That's why he proposed the idea and used his personal experience to convince the other heroes."
T'Challa neatly organized the entire chain of reasoning in front of everyone.Logically sound. Clean. Convincing.
"So the answer is C—Scott Lang?" Peter Parker asked, glancing around.
No one objected.
Granted, this was still speculation. There was no concrete proof that Scott Lang truly entered the Quantum Realm in the future.
Even if he did, there was no absolute guarantee that he experienced time travel there.
But so far, this was the only theory supported by actual related evidence.
All other possibilities were pure conjecture.
By comparison, Scott Lang was the only reasonable choice.
Now came the next question—who would answer?
Tony Stark, Thor, and Peter Parker—the three who hadn't answered yet—had a brief discussion.
In the end, the chance went to Tony Stark.
The reason was simple.
No one knew exactly what "Shimmer" was—but the unit was one dose.Which meant it was a drug.
And drugs had to be ingested or injected—either way, they entered the body.
Thor was instinctively opposed to that.
Peter Parker was eager—everything about this system fascinated him, and he couldn't wait to try answering.
But Tony beat him to it.
Tony wasn't worried about himself.He was worried about Peter injecting some weird unknown substance into his body.
Purely a guardian mindset.
Even though this was their first meeting, maybe because Tony had already seen future footage—or maybe it was just inexplicable chemistry—Tony had immediately taken a liking to Peter.
He saw him as a junior.Someone worth protecting.
After all, the system's rewards weren't always friendly.
Take the Monster Cell, for example—an absolute trap.
Strange didn't dare use it.No one else wanted it either.
In the end, it was handed over to Banner as a research sample.
And even Banner, genius that he was, couldn't get anything out of it—there simply wasn't enough material.
A tiny lump of cells.Gone. Completely wasted.
"I choose C—Scott Lang," Tony Stark declared.

The system's prompt sounded immediately.
[Congratulations to the respondent Tony Stark for obtaining: Improved Shimmer ×1 dose!]
As the announcement ended, a tube of purple liquid—faintly glowing—appeared in Tony's hand.
"So this is Shimmer," Tony said after organizing the information in his mind."Pretty much what I expected."
He shrugged, unimpressed.
To him, it was honestly… mediocre.
"Mr. Stark, this looks incredibly advanced," Peter Parker said eagerly."What does it do?"
"Simply put," Tony explained, "it massively enhances human potential. Drink it, and you become a super-soldier."
That didn't surprise anyone.Most system-produced drugs worked like that.
"But it's temporary," Tony added. "About thirty minutes."
That limitation instantly dampened everyone's interest.
Not because Shimmer was bad—but because the people standing here were already too strong.
For ordinary people, though?
Thirty minutes as a superhero was still insane value.
"Drink it and you're as strong as Captain America?" Peter exclaimed."That's awesome!"
"Trust me, kid," Tony said meaningfully. "You don't need it."
Peter Parker's future physical abilities were already on par with Captain America.
"Does it have side effects?" Scott Lang asked.
"Of course not," Tony replied flatly, casting Scott an annoyed look."Lang, this isn't your first time answering. Why are you asking such a childish question?"
The system had never given rewards with side effects.
Excessive energy consumption didn't count.
"No—what I meant was," Scott quickly clarified,"Since this is an improved version… did the original have side effects?"
That question at least made sense.
Tony nodded."Yes. The original Shimmer turned people into monsters and caused severe addiction."
"But this improved version is safe, non-toxic, and has no side effects."
"Mr. Stark," Peter said excitedly,"Even without your Iron Man suit, you could still be a superhero now!"
That wasn't wrong.
Tony hadn't yet developed nanotech armor—instant deployment wasn't possible.
Sure, he carried a suit in a capsule, but what if it got destroyed?
Some battles required more than one suit.
In that case, Shimmer could actually be useful.
Not amazing—but not useless either.
[Answer complete. Playing answer analysis.]
The screen lit up.
A dark, chaotic place appeared—like an abandoned warehouse.
A rat scurried across the debris.
By pure coincidence, it triggered a device.
The display lit up.
A machine inside a wrecked vehicle began spinning rapidly.
A tunnel formed.
Whoosh!
A figure shot out.
Scott Lang—wearing the Ant-Man suit.
"…What the hell?"
He looked around, utterly confused.
The tunnel was clearly too small to hold a human.
Which meant Scott had been in a shrunken state inside it.
Why had he entered the vehicle after shrinking?
Why did it seem like he was trapped until the machine activated?
All signs pointed to one conclusion.
Scott Lang had entered the Quantum Realm.
The answer was clear.
