Caleb stood staring at the door blankly.
He pinched his nose, his thoughts railing.
'Why do I always end up in situations like this?'
Alice stood by the door, her hands calmly folded over each other.
She turned to catch Naya's silhouette moving into the room.
"You have a lot of explanations to do, honestly. Even I didn't expect that from you."
Caleb took a deep breath.
"Do you really think I'd say something like that for no reason?" Caleb asked, shifting his gaze to her.
"That's not the problem... It's the fact that you said it in the first place. Besides... I'm not the one that should be listening to your reasons, I'm not the angry wife here." Alice shrugged casually as she turned to enter the house.
Just then, she felt a hand tug her.
She spun with a startled look on her face and met Caleb's face terribly close to hers.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Alice panicked, her face flushed pink.
