Chapter 15 - stone Titan and Orthodox vs Eithan

Eithan walked forward to the army of high-ranking mutants, five hundred of them standing still and waiting for him to make the first move. He pulled out his two curved daggers, analyzing them all, but before he could take a step, a heavy kick sent him skidding back. "Enough! Let's kill this man!" a mutant wolf carrying two scythes shouted, charging at him, jumping above his head, spinning, and slashing his shoulder. Eithan just stood back up with a stoic face. "My turn," he said and charged at the mutant wolf.

The mutant wolf immediately charged at him and swung, but Eithan kicked him in the head, knocking him back. Before the wolf could stand up, fifteen cheetahs attacked Eithan without hesitation. The first cheetah stabbed him in the bone marrow, easily making Eithan cough up a lot of blood. Eithan gave him a death stare and said, "Novana technique: Absolute Red," and the ground turned a full crimson red. The air, the surroundings, everything turned crimson red, and the Novana technique made three layers of red heat. Eithan used it to disintegrate the cheetah.

The fourteen other cheetahs all charged, but Eithan spun his dagger counterclockwise. "Reverse spin," he said, and the cheetahs' legs were now their arms, and their arms were now their legs. The cheetahs immediately slipped to the ground, and Eithan disintegrated them with Absolute Red. The army all charged in at once, but Eithan stepped back and jumped up into the sky. "Fifty of them are stronger than the rest, so I better eliminate them first," he thought.

His eyes turned light blue, and he flew up into the sky with blitz speed. "Shadow step," he said, then immediately disappeared out of sight. The mutants didn't realize he was gone until he sliced a mutant snake's head off. Eithan remained calm and went, "Novana technique: Full of all Absolute Red," and the fifty mutants immediately charged at him to stop him, but they all exploded from Eithan's Novana technique. "Idiot," one mutant said.

Eithan, sensing something off, immediately stepped back, realizing he was wrong about the fifty mutants; they were just pawns. The entire army formed into a giant stone Titan. "I should have known this was by someone with an ile," he muttered. The stone Titan looked down at Eithan with its yellow, sinister eyes, its face getting darker and darker as it approached.

It bent its own wrist, revealing a huge sword. Eithan couldn't help but raise a slight smirk.

"Don't disappoint," the stone Titan said.

Eithan slowly charged at the stone Titan but then got hit by thunder. "The Orthodox? No, it's not the right time for them to make a move," the stone Titan muttered. Eithan immediately got up and went, "Absolute Red." Then everything went red—even the air and ground were red—and just as Eithan was about to disintegrate it, the Titan unleashed a white aura and stopped the attack with one finger. It used its sword to stab Eithan in the chest, but Eithan immediately broke it with his pure grip alone.

Eithan coughed up blood. He felt extremely sore, his throat was in pain, and he couldn't feel his own voice because his Novana was unstable to the point it was blocking his vocal cord. Eithan recalled the moment the Titan said "Orthodox" and wondered, "What exactly are these Orthodox beings?" he thought to himself.

The stone Titan approached him and turned its hand into a pole hammer. The stone Titan started hammering Eithan's leg, again and again, but Eithan had already fainted.

Then the sky turned into pure gold, and the ground started shaking and shaking. A being fell down from the sky; it looked human, but its forehead was a crown. "Eithan, the older brother of Master Zillow? Hmm, and I thought he was an ile-level threat, but no, just nonsense," the being said disappointingly. The stone Titan laughed menacingly. "I thought so too, but he was just a disappoint-" Before the Stone Titan could finish its sentence, Eithan stabbed it in the eye.

"I thought you wouldn't fall for my fake act," Eithan said, and without hesitation, he took a step back and went, "Anuisze." The being's eyes widened. "How does he know the Sybil language?" the being thought. Eithan vanished and appeared on the Stone Titan's hand and cut its arm. "Anuisze!" he said and vanished again. It was almost like he was a non-existent being, but he appeared and cut its neck off. "You, what being are you?" he asked the being. The being smiled. "I am an Orthodox being, and I must say I did fall for your act," the Orthodox replied.

Eithan looked at the Orthodox being and said, "Your race makes me sick. Why would you follow someone who doesn't even care about you?" The Orthodox narrowed his eyes. "Because Zillow is the strongest, plus humans have dominated this planet to the point you all have been the most dangerous beings. You kill animals only to turn them into cooked meat and you don't have remorse about it, you just eat it. Yet when an animal attacks you and starts eating you, you humans all cower instead of facing them."

"What happens when you meet a grizzly bear? You would obviously cower in fear instead of facing it head-on. You hide in the woods holding guns so you can shoot them, but when exposed, you run away. You don't even bother to show your race was the race that dominated Earth. So are we sick in the head, or are we showing we're the right race to dominate Earth because you humans only show domination against ants who aren't even one foot tall while you humans are Titans among them? Most of you humans are scared of spiders even though spiders see you as Titans; most of you humans cower. You have all the weapons to fight an animal but can't face an animal head-on with your gun," the Orthodox being said in a cold tone. Eithan paused, but in his mind, he thought, "No, don't get caught in his words, just kill him." Eithan looked at the Orthodox dead in the eyes and said, "Tell me your name so I can write it on your grave."

The Orthodox said, "Philip Norelco," with a sly smile. Eithan immediately gripped his daggers and said, "Well, Philip, get ready for your death." Eithan charged at Philips with half the speed of light, but Philip simply side-stepped, then broke his wrist. "You're tired, injured, but keep on fighting. You're not brave; you're stupid and foolish, an arrogant human who refuses to accept someone better than them," Philip said. Eithan refused to answer him and kicked him in the head, making Philip skid back.

Philip charged forward and kicked him in the head. Eithan responded by stabbing his forehead, but Philip simply smirked and punched Eithan in the head. Eithan's head felt light and fuzzy. Eithan fell down on Philip's lap, and Philip raised his hand and grabbed his head, squeezing it. "See? Even brave humans prove nothing.

You might be brave, but not smart. Sometimes you humans don't realize that you use your strength to conquer instead of using your strength to give people a chance to rise," Philip said with a very cold tone. Eithan had fainted, so he only heard a fraction of what he said.

"The reason your friends aren't here is because I blocked their connection to you. They think you're winning, but in reality, you're being a mere fool, losing like the nuisance you are. How I did it is simple: the moment you came out of that dimension, I put up a barrier by throwing my hairpin. Now rest, and you shall meet your younger brother." He patted Eithan's head and slapped his head. Philip stood up and opened a portal leading to Zillow's continent. The captains didn't know that their ally had been dismantled.
