Ember nodded. "This is a decision I came up with after taking into consideration a lot of factors." She said, hoping she sounded as intelligent as she intended to come off as.
The Queen stared at the scroll in her hands. "That makes sense," she said mechanically and without any emotion, "I shall send Syria to convince him to sign your dance card. As for the other men you will dance with, I shall arrange them on your behalf."
"Thank you mother." Ember said, feeling slightly disconcerted at the Queen's lack of enthusiasm. She had expected her objection, but instead, she seemed to be approaching the whole affair logically.
"In this scroll are the names of the Chancellors we must bring to our side, including those that are already siding with us."
