Ember nodded at that, her stare still pinned on Captain Gale. "Is that all Captain?" She probed because if the man was as talented as she had heard of him, then he must have stumbled on something she greatly suspected.
He hesitated yet again, then he smiled. "You're wise, princess. In fact, I did encounter something quite strange when we tracked you to the peak of the Thunderstruck Mountains. From the traces of runic spells scattered all over the peak, I sensed Earth Magic and Fire Magic—" he said, the information startling Asborne ever so slightly.
Ember remained immobile though while Gale studied her for a reaction that was not forthcoming.
