Chapter 3 - The Forgotten Hall Awakens

It was the start of a new semester so the academy became rowdy with excitement. The vacationing students or those who went back home were quickly returning.

The academy was massive with several entrances. All were lively and filled with people.

"Screech!" A young man on a Porsche landed outside an entrance.

"You're back, Jiahao. Your fellow students are waiting for you to take them on a project." A senior student welcomed him with a smile.

"I found a group of rare startups during my trip to Silicon Valley. Here, everyone has the chance to invest in one." Jiahao smiled back and handed them a list.

This surely pleased his peers, evident by their cheers.

"Vroom!" The ground shifted outside the gates. A massive SUV, with its powerful frame, dominated the streets. It had oversized wheels and moved with surprising agility, despite its enormous size.

Another charismatic young man rode the SUV. He had a hint of arrogance in his aura.

"Senior Shiming is back." Another student responsible for registering newcomers laughed happily.

"Friends, I found a lot of rare diamonds in my clan's mine, I brought some for everyone." The SUV slowed down before reaching the entrance in order to be respectful. The rider jumped down and told everyone.

"How generous of you, Senior." The eyes of the students from his class lit up after hearing this.

Their arrivals caused a stir. After all, they were quite generous and gave many good stuff to their classmates.

This was another reason for being here - making friends and establishing connections for their future.

Despite these two newcomers were not as influential and powerful as the three Young Titans, they were famous in their own rights. They both come from one of the Behemoths, albeit not as successors.

The academy accepted students from everywhere as long as they possessed the right qualifications. Thus, the student body was very diverse.

Some students were once ordinary individuals; some came from smaller startups. Of course, there was no shortage of students from the major corporations and elite families.

In Earth, the academy might not have the most prestigious research grants or resources, but it definitely had the highest number of different approaches for innovation and development.

It wasn't a clan or a massive conglomerate, but it certainly produced the most talents and masters.

Its alumni were usually exceptional. After becoming industry giants or pioneers, some would return and stay to mentor at the university for a short while. Some of them even chose to leave behind their innovative methods and trade secrets.

Due to the new waves of talents in every generation, the academy stood strong. This enticed behemoth successors to come and learn. It was a good way for them to broaden their horizon.

"Buzz." The automatic door opened with a youth walking on top.

He came with a calm gaze, sharp as a blade. His presence was filled with quiet strength, wise, relaxed, and strong.

"Gu Qingyang is back!" Someone shouted emotionally.

"Crown Prince of Finance huh? Truly badass. I heard he had a breakthrough in a high-risk venture." A powerful student was convinced.

"I think he's about to graduate. A teacher says that he only need one year to do so. I don't think anyone else in the world can match his talents." A female student was infatuated.

Crown Prince of Finance, perhaps the most famous character at the academy right now, even exceeding Young Overlord.

He is the successor of Huayin Capital, the largest investment firm in the world, a financial Behemoth with influence stretching across markets, political circles, and global tech funding. He also serves as President of the elite student council where all major ventures and funding for student-led projects are reviewed, approved, and often shaped by his strategic vision.

While Young Overlord had built a corporation from the ground up, Gu Qingyang had instead consolidated power in the financial sector, where he had the ability to fund, influence, and control ventures from behind the scenes.

He was renowned worldwide and widely regarded as the most powerful and influential among the three Young Titans.

After arriving, Gu Qingyang didn't stop at the entrance. He entered the academy and disappeared into the vast halls inside.

"Senior Gu Qingyang will certainly become a trillionaire mogul." A beautiful female student watched him the whole time and said as if drunk with infatuation.

"Not necessarily because he's born in the wrong generation. We already have three Young Titans, the pressure is too much if he wants to become another trillionaire." A jealous male student responded.

These little conversations were everywhere about Gu Qingyang until the next arrival at a different entrance.

Another supreme beauty came about. She was dressed in the latest designer fashion, catching the attention of everyone in the room. However, what truly stood out wasn't just her appearance, but her incredibly captivating presence, a sense of confidence that went beyond mere looks.

"Sister Reina!" The greeters cheered with excitement, especially the members of Prestige Track. The male students ran over to greet her.

"Sister, your arrival brings colors to our Prestige Track, we've been waiting for you." One male student declared.

His feelings were as clear as day but he wasn't the only one. All the other youths were completely intoxicated.

She was another famous character in the last semester. What earned her fame was not just her beauty. She wasn't all looks and no brains.

It was certainly her frightening talents, earning her title "Pop Idol Princess". Keep in mind that many wealthy successors would need to pass multiple examinations before joining Prestige Track classroom. Once again, people thought that her talents were higher than Gu Qingyang. But she didn't chase wealth; instead, she focused on rising through the ranks of the entertainment world.

She had a calm demeanor like the water in a well and only answered with a slight nod before entering the academy.

The students have grown used to her attitude. In the beginning, she had countless suitors - some were wealthy successors from famous corporate and conglomerate empires. There was no lack of geniuses in Prestige Track. Alas, no one could win her favor. She was friendly without any trace of arrogance but there was invisible distance or barrier. No one could actually step in her world.

"I wonder who can capture Sister Reina's heart?" A young female student said with anticipation while looking at Reina's back.

Meanwhile, the males were in a stupor looking at her. No one has been lucky enough to successfully court her just yet.

If Summit Class was reserved for the children of a few billionaires, then the Prestige Track was for high-performing students from wealthy families, while the lesser achievers were placed in the Honors Division. The lower the class, the higher the number of students.

However, the lowest section, the Foundation Section, had remained completely empty throughout the long 300-year history of Huanglong Academy. No one knew its purpose, and no student had ever been placed there. This remained a mystery to all individuals.

In a quiet wing of the academy, Xuan Mu was the first person to bless its halls. Its hallway was silent, untouched by the usual chatter or footsteps that echoed through the rest of the school. The door bore no golden plaque, no house crest, only a plain inscription: "Foundation."
