Adrian chuckled after Cassie fell back asleep, he didn't want to admit it but at work he was worried Cassie might harm herself in the kitchen
After showering, he went downstairs in sweat pants and shirt then went to the kitchen to get his food and eat, he looked down at the porridge and actually happily ate it
He looked like a puppy stuffing his mouth, while eating, his head began pounding and his hand trembled, he accidentally drops the spoon
He gets up and walks with unsteady steps and goes to the kitchen sink, but faints almost reaching there
The reason the memories of our Adrian never came to this Adrian was because he would have blamed the memory for making him fall in love and call it false love, leaving Cassie with nothing and making her suffer but now that his feelings for her were unlocking, Adrian got the memories of our Adrian and was no longer kept in the dark
He woke up an hour later, his head still pounding but wasn't hurting like before, he got up, drank a glass of cold water and walked back to the dinning, the porridge was still there
It was cold but Adrian still sat down and ate, he cleaned the plate while still thinking of what had happen, it was midnight now but sleep wasn't in his agenda
He saw through the memory and realized just how the relationship between the Cassie and Adrian of this world was... 'no one said they loved the other's even he found it hard to read the Cassie... Not knowing what she felt, it surprised him that someone could understand her
He looked at the staircase and muttered "even you are hard to understand... Why try so hard"
The next day Cassie woke up with no memory of last night, she found herself on the bed and assumed she came up herself because even if she watched a video of cold Adrian taking her upstairs she still wouldn't believe
She woke up early and decided to clean, the maids were already doing so but Cassie still decided to do some things... She wasn't good at cleaning but she managed with Cassie memory and maid's help
As usual, after cleaning the maids left and Cassie looked at the time,it was already 9 on the dot, she went up and took a shower, brushed her teeth and went to check Adrian room
She knocked on the door, she didn't know if Adrian ate her food and if he woke up earlier than her... When no one answered she wanted to leave but curiosity got the better of her
The only time she had ever entered Adrian room was when they first came from the hospital so she checked if the door was lock but it wasn't, she opened it slowly but jumped because from the other side, Adrian opened the door fully
"Do you know what privacy is?" The cold voice brought her back from her shock, awkwardly she looked at him and smiled "good morning"
Adrian ignored her greeting "what are you doing here?"
'rude' Cassie thought but didn't say out loud "I just came to check if you were around since I didn't see you since morning"
"There's no need for that"
"But-" Cassie cut herself off and smiled "are you not going to work today?"
"I am"
Cassie spirit immediately fell "oh"
"Why did you ask?"
"Nothing" Cassie shook her head, seeing how pitiful she looked, Adrian who was about to shrug everything off sighed "tell me and I might consider it"
