"Think about it," the masked man continued with his inquiry. "The guy just shows up out of nowhere?"
"Happens, my brother."
"Nah, that's rubbish. I don't know much about the film business, but it ain't common. One day, he is a nobody, and the next day, he is one of the most talked-about actors in Asia? That's not right."
"How do you even know all that?" The AD looked at him with suspicious eyes. "You said you know nothing about the film business."
"I saw BSPH. He was terrific," he said.
Only his furrowed eyebrows managed to portray his amusement.
"Like, I couldn't take my eyes off whenever the brother was on. They say he just showed up for the auditions for BSPH one day. That's how they found him, apparently. That's odd, isn't it?"
"Not really. There are far more unusual things, aren't there? The industry is big; such things happen."
"You don't think he is different?"
"No, I don't."
"Really, now?"
"Yes."
