Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: "A Surprise Announcement"

The next morning, Luna and Aurora headed downstairs to join Aurora's family for breakfast.

Nicole was already there, chatting with her parents at the dining table.

As they sat down to join them, Aurora's mom brought out a big spread of pancakes, eggs, and bacon.

The atmosphere was lively and filled with laughter and giggles.

Just as they were about to dig in, Aurora dropped a bombshell.

"I have some news to share with you all," she said, looking around the table with a big smile.

"What is it?" her mom asked, curiosity etched on her face.

Aurora took a deep breath.

"I just rented an apartment, and I'm moving out," she announced.

The room fell silent for a moment, before erupting into a mixture of shock and excitement.

Nicole congratulated Aurora on her new adventure, while Aurora's parents looked surprised but happy for their daughter.

Aurora's younger sister, however, was not too thrilled.

"You're leaving me all alone with mom and dad?" she teased, pretending to be upset.

Aurora laughed.

"You're always welcome to come visit me, sis," she said.

"And who knows, maybe you can even move in with me someday."

Luna, who had been quietly observing the conversation, couldn't believe her ears.

She kept tapping Aurora's lap from under the table, trying to get her attention.

But Aurora didn't look up, knowing that Luna must be surprised by the news.

Aurora had been planning this for a while, and she knew that Luna would be shocked.

But she wanted a place where they could be alone, free to express themselves without worrying about what others might think.

She was going to explain everything to Luna later, but for now, she just smiled and squeezed Luna's hand under the table.

After dropping Luna off at her house, Aurora drove off to the studio for her daily business.

Luna, on the other hand, got ready to visit her vineyard.

She spent the morning inspecting the vines and checking on the latest harvest.

As she worked, Luna received a text from Max.

"Hey, how's it going?" he asked.

Luna smiled, happy to hear from her old friend.

"It's going great, thanks for asking," she replied.

Max suggested they meet up for dinner that night, and Luna agreed.

She was looking forward to catching up with him again.

As the evening approached, Luna headed home to freshen up and dress for dinner.

Before leaving, she sent a text to Aurora.

"Hey, just a heads up, I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight.

I'll tell you all about it tomorrow."

Aurora replied with a simple "Okay, have fun!"

Luna smiled, feeling a little guilty for not telling Aurora more about her plans.

But she knew she would fill her in tomorrow.

With that, Luna headed out to the restaurant to meet Max.

She was excited to see him again and catch up on old times.

Little did she know, this dinner would lead to some interesting developments…
