Six months later
The Academy's new Department of Inter-Dimensional Studies was nothing like the old Department of Historical Practices. Where the former had been a dusty corner of forgotten lore, the new department occupied an entire wing of specially constructed buildings designed to accommodate visitors from the spirit realm.
Saguna stood in the central courtyard, watching students practice basic Veil Sight under Professor Nyala's careful supervision. Some were naturals, able to perceive spiritual energy with minimal training. Others struggled with even the simplest exercises. All of them were there by choice.
"Admissions requests are still coming in from every domain," Radji reported, consulting his crystal tablet as he joined Saguna. His new role as Student Coordinator kept him busy managing the influx of people eager to explore cross-dimensional abilities.
"How many this week?" Saguna asked.
