Once Lillian stepped out the Proctor's office, Sebastian said, "Extend your hand."
The calm expression on her face changed to give him a questioning glance.
Sebastian arched his brows.
Lillian listened to his words and raised her palm.
"Good girl," Sebastian commented before placing a candy in the middle of her palm. The warm touch of the plastic made her feel confused.
"Reward because you managed to hold up your ground," Sebastian expressed.
Lillian shot him a suspicious state. Undoing the wrapper of the candy, she placed it in her mouth. The sweet cherry flavour spread through her tongue.
He owed her this for stealing her chocolate the last time.
Although Lillian was someone who treasured her words like gold, Sebastian easily had an idea of what she thought through those expressive dark eyes of hers.
"Thank you for today," Lillian awkwardly voiced out, "I will make it up to you."
Sebastian waved his hand dismissively.
