Silvan glanced over his shoulder at the splash, watching Alessio gingerly take deeper steps into the lake. He had fully expected the Vampire to sit out fishing, but despite how averse he was to the water of the lake, he stubbornly waded deeper and deeper in.
He stopped completely to watch him, amusement in his blue-green eyes. "It's not that cold, is it?"
"Easy for you to say," Alessio grumbled, slowing to a stop when he completely closed the distance between them, trying hard not to look down at where he had placed his feet.
Silvan knew that the curious Vampire was having a great time despite his complaints, so he just moved on. "Now wait for the water to settle so you can see the fish," He directed gently.
Even he had to admit, the water was rather cold, and as the sun lost its strength, it would only get colder.
