Chapter 9 - 4. Photograph session

The next day Devin came to pick up Liya and Inu from the apartment Yul had arranged for their stay. They were already waiting for Devin when he arrived. They got in the car and drove off.

But unexpectedly the road they were travelling became more isolated as they went by. Liya was expecting a studio arranged for wedding photographs, but now it seemed that Devin was taking them to somewhere isolate. She started worrying about Devin's intentions and held Inu close.

Devin saw Liya's change of expression in the mirror and said, "Please don't worry ma'am. We are going to one of master Yul's private villa. It's nearby the forest and hence secluded. We will be taking the photos there."

Liya relaxed on hearing that and smiled awkwardly at Devin.

After more than three hours of drive, they reached the villa nearby forest. It was secluded but scenic. Anyone would feel relaxed and calm in that atmosphere. The villa itself was beautiful and huge. Made of stone and wood, the mansion reflected its history and clearly had a story of its own. The archaic style of wood carvings was present everywhere. It was evident that the furnishings of present minimalistic trend were recently added for some purpose. Liya found everything very extravagant though beautiful. But compared to the 'Hill Palace' and Yul's mansion in the town, it was nothing.

A lovely lady in formal shirt and pants was waiting in the hall to welcome them. She walked towards Inu and greeted him merrily. But Inu hid behind his mom.

"He is a little timid and shy when meeting strangers," Liya informed the lady while rubbing her son's hair.

"It's okay ma'am. He is really cute. These days, it's hard to find children who are shy. Most are really eccentric and hard to handle." The lady replied.

"This is Ginny. She is a professional photograph and will be handling today's session. She is good friend of mine so you can feel ease with her." Devin introduced Ginny to Liya.

Liya smiled and greeted Ginny. She was really relaxed to have met another female in this isolated place. She was also glad that she will be the one taking the photos. But as they were shaking hands, Liya had another vision.

She saw Ginny in an apartment which seemed to be hers itself judging from the decorations that suited a lady. She was watching some movie sitting on a sofa in front of the television. Liya saw Ginny turn back towards the kitchen and say loudly, "Aren't you coming? The movie started."

Liya could guess that Ginny was calling her boyfriend. It must be some evening time together with her lover. "Coming baby…" The boyfriend replied and quickly came over with two bowls of snacks and two drinks. Identifying the spectacled man, Liya smiled lightly. The vision blurred away and Liya withdrew her hand after shaking with Ginny.

The smile on her face hadn't faded when she turned to look at Devin, who was standing nearby and smiling at Ginny. Her visions had no time sequence nor occurred every time she touched others. It was totally random and uncontrollable. So it was hard to predict when the future she saw will happen. Sometimes it will be imminent and sometimes years later. Moreover she didn't want anyone to know about this ability of hers. Naturally thus Liya didn't ask anything to Ginny.

"So are you a wedding photographer?" Liya asked Ginny totally ignoring what she saw.

"No, I'm not. I am actually a media photographer. I work for the newspaper 'Poonj Daily', owned by the Amarok family". Ginny replied and said the last part in a hushed voice, for only Liya to hear.

Liya understood now, why it was Ginny. When she went further inside, and found that there was no one else, not even another staff, the picture got more evident. Yul must have planned the whole thing to be done in secret. By having Ginny as the photographer, the confidentiality will be protected in multiple ways.

Ginny guided Liya and Inu to the upper bedroom. She gave some dress and props to Liya and asked her to change. Liya didn't understand why such clothes. She was going to ask, when Ginny explained it herself.

She said, "In order to make up for the five years of your secret marriage, we will need some photographs as evidence. We will start by master Yul's and your couple photos, then the time of your pregnancy and later some family photos including Inu. The pre-wedding photographs are last in the schedule."

So that was this whole photograph session was about. Liya was wondering why the need of a photograph session in a secluded place when it was just some pre-wedding photo shoot. Now it was clear. She went to change into the dress Ginny gave her.

Yul was already ready in some casuals for the first set of photos. When Ginny brought Liya all dressed up, Yul and Devin looked in admiration. Liya was used to wear loose comfortable clothes than matching ones after Inu was born. And it made her look like old. Now she seemed to be another person in that dress. Liya looked beautiful and young, not a mother of four year old son at all.

Ginny smiled at seeing the men in awe and cleared her throat as a warning. Devin turned sideways on the clue but Yul was still staring at Liya and it made Liya uncomfortable.

Ginny's main duty was to arrange the premises for the photographs as the plan was to take selfies mostly for more originality.

She made Yul and Liya stand in different poses at different parts of the villa for the photos. She made them change their clothes from time to time, each carefully selected from five years of fashion trends. She also made them act intimately, hug and share food so as not have any loop hole.

Yul was all professional as if he was an actor, during the whole process. But Liya was really uncomfortable with all the intimacy. She was made to hug Yul, and having Yul's arms around her waist and shoulders and face, which made Liya awkward. But there was still more to come.

Ginny made Yul and Liya to stand close in the bedroom. As they were waiting for the next action to be told, Ginny said with a mischief, "Let's take some selfies of you two kissing, okay?"
