As Jiraiya dragged him through the Uchiha compound toward the training fields, Andrew absentmindedly responded to the system notification. He'd been collecting these random packages for days—most of them useless. But now and then, one turned out to be a goldmine.
"Open the Pupil Power Gift Pack," he whispered under his breath, anticipation flickering in his eyes.
Ding! Gift pack opened: Sharingan power significantly enhanced. Sharingan restoration complete. Byakugan power dramatically increased!
The moment the notification hit, Andrew felt a surge of heat flood his vision—then, an eerie coldness. Pupil power surged violently. A suffocating pressure radiated from his body, and before he could suppress it, a shockwave of invisible energy pulsed outward.
Jiraiya, who had been walking ahead, stumbled and faceplanted into the dirt.
"Andrew! Are you out of your mind?!" he shouted, trying to stand—only to find himself pressed to the ground by a crushing force. He could barely lift his head, even with Chakra reinforcing his muscles.
"Sorry! I didn't expect such a violent reaction…" Andrew replied awkwardly, rubbing his eyes. He quickly reined in the overflow. The immense power within his Sharingan was overwhelming—far beyond what it had been moments ago.
His Byakugan had undergone a startling transformation as well. It now emitted a passive pressure that could suppress enemies around him—a trait previously undocumented among the Hyūga. The sensation was like the presence of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki—intimidating, silent, oppressive.
"No wonder the Hyūga never developed the Byakugan's full potential," Andrew muttered. "They've treated it as a tool for taijutsu, not realizing the eye alone could shatter defenses."
He recalled that in the legends, Kaguya could exert pure pressure through her eyes—stunning or even destroying enemies. Ōtsutsuki Hamura himself had fallen under her Byakugan's illusion. Clearly, the Hyūga had only scratched the surface of its true power.
Jiraiya sat up with difficulty and grumbled, "You're already terrifying enough. Do your eyes really need to keep getting stronger?"
Andrew shrugged. "Hey, don't blame me. I didn't write the rules."
He noticed Jiraiya's wary gaze and smirked. "What? You scared I'll accidentally blink you into another dimension?"
"You might," Jiraiya muttered, dusting off his robes. "By the way, are all Uchiha eyes this unstable?"
"How should I know? This is my first time leveling up a Sharingan like this."
"Right… anyway, come on. We're here for Naruto."
In the training grounds behind the Uchiha estate, Sasuke stood before a wooden target, arms crossed as he addressed the blond boy across from him.
"If you give up this easily," he said coldly, "you can forget about being Hokage."
"Clone Jutsu!" he shouted, and in a puff of smoke, a perfect copy of himself appeared beside him.
"Tch! Don't get cocky!" Naruto snapped. "I can do that too!"
With determination etched on his face, he mimicked the hand signs and shouted, "Clone Jutsu!"
Poof!
Two identical Narutos appeared. From a surface view, the performance was flawless.
Sasuke, however, frowned. "You can pull it off sometimes, but not consistently. Something's off. Are you getting distracted when you cast?"
Naruto scratched his head in frustration. "I don't know! It feels like something inside me keeps interfering... like the Chakra doesn't listen to me."
Hidden nearby, Jiraiya and Andrew observed silently from the trees.
"You sense that?" Andrew whispered.
Jiraiya nodded slowly. "Yeah… it's faint, but every time he fails, a trace of malicious Chakra leaks out. That's Nine Tails."
"With a seal from Minato, that shouldn't be happening. Maybe the seal's weakening... or reacting to Naruto's emotions."
Jiraiya's expression turned serious. He'd been entrusted with the key to that seal by Naruto's father, and now he couldn't ignore the signs. He had to take responsibility.
"Andrew," he said, "I want to take Naruto as my disciple. I'll take him under my wing. What do you think?"
Andrew gave him a blank look. "What does that have to do with me?"
Jiraiya blinked. "You… you're not going to interfere?"
"We're not babysitting him because we want a Jinchūriki," Andrew said dryly. "We just didn't want a kid growing up alone. If you want to train him, get his consent. We're not some village elders who claim people like property."
Jiraiya was stunned for a second. "Wow. That was surprisingly noble."
"Don't get used to it. Now wipe that earnest expression off your face—it's creeping me out."
Jiraiya grinned and stood. "Fine, fine. You got me. Let's talk to him."
Out on the field, Naruto had thrown his hands up in defeat. "Why does this happen every time?!"
"Alright, you two, take a break!" Andrew's voice rang out as he and Jiraiya stepped into the open.
Sasuke looked pleased. "Senior Andrew, you came to watch us train?"
Andrew raised an eyebrow. "Hardly. I'm not here for your friendly rivalry. I brought someone to see Naruto."
Naruto blinked. "Huh? Me?"
Jiraiya stepped forward, rubbing the back of his neck. "Hey, kid. I heard you're having trouble with your Chakra control. Want help?"
Naruto's eyes lit up. "Can you really fix it, white-haired uncle?!"
"I'm not just some random uncle. I'm Jiraiya. One of the Sannin. They call me the Toad Sage," he said proudly.
"I want to take you as my student," Jiraiya said with a serious tone. "We'll go through intense training, fix your Chakra issue, and make you stronger. What do you say?"
Naruto hesitated. "Can I still train with Sasuke?"
"For now, yes. But eventually, we'll be traveling. You'll have to leave Konoha for a while."
Naruto looked back at Sasuke, then at Jiraiya. His fists clenched.
"…You'll make me strong enough to beat him?"
Jiraiya smirked. "That's the goal."
Andrew chuckled. "This is your chance, Naruto. Lord Jiraiya's the real deal. You'll be learning from one of the best."
That sealed it.
"Alright!" Naruto shouted. "I'll do it! I'll be your student!"
Jiraiya smiled warmly. "Good. We'll start tomorrow."
He turned to Andrew. "Thanks."
"Just don't make me regret it," Andrew replied.
As Naruto waved goodbye to Sasuke and followed his new mentor, Andrew watched them disappear down the trail.
He couldn't help but think: the story of the sons of prophecy had truly begun.
