Chapter 142 - Chapter 144 – The Uchiha Supercar Is Launched!

The battle at Rain Shinobi Village shook the entire ninja world. The shock was not because the Five Great Villages acted together, but because the strength of the Akatsuki organization had finally been revealed in full view.

Everyone realized something terrifying—although the Akatsuki group had only a handful of members, if they moved with intent, then aside from the Five Great Villages themselves, no smaller village had the power to resist them.

Among the most frightened was Takigakure, the village that held the Seven-Tails. Ever since the Five Great Villages announced that Akatsuki's ultimate goal was to capture all the tailed beasts, Takigakure lived in constant dread. Unlike larger nations, they had neither the strength to fight Akatsuki nor the ability to flee. Their village could only tremble in fear, hiding, while desperately trying to track any signs of Akatsuki's movements.

But when Akatsuki wielded powers such as Kamui's dimensional space, hiding was almost meaningless. Unless someone like Andrew, who now carried Obito's Sharingan, was involved, no one could even step foot into Kamui's realm, let alone find them.

After the devastating clash in the Rain Village, Akatsuki vanished completely. It was as if they dissolved into thin air, erasing every trace of their existence.

The only clues came later—when both Rock Shinobi Village and Cloud Shinobi Village discovered their vaults had been robbed clean. Outrage followed immediately, and both villages issued high-level bounty notices for Akatsuki, making their hatred of the group known.

Back in Konoha, this gave Sarutobi Hiruzen some small comfort. Though the Allied Forces had been utterly crushed in the Rain, Konoha had not been the village robbed afterward. At least, he thought bitterly, they weren't the absolute worst off.

Andrew's New Path

When Andrew returned to Konoha, he announced something that surprised the entire village.

The rural revitalization plan, which he had spearheaded, was now stable enough to continue without his constant presence. From here on, the Uchiha Group would oversee all development. Having made this declaration, Andrew formally resigned from his role as Konoha's consultant elder.

He was not leaving Konoha entirely—rather, he returned to the Uchiha's Evernight City, focusing solely on strengthening the clan's economy and influence.

Though many believed Andrew still carried the intent to one day destroy Akatsuki, he himself knew the truth: chasing Akatsuki endlessly was not his role. He had already taken Obito's Mangekyō Sharingan and implanted it, yet when he entered Kamui's space, he found neither Obito nor Nagato. Akatsuki still lived, hidden, but no one knew where.

Andrew had also seized the other Kamui eye, which he considered a trump card for the future. The element of surprise worked only once, and if Obito survived an attempt, chances would diminish dramatically. For now, Andrew bided his time, refusing to stir the snake before the killing blow was certain.

Obito's strength wasn't what frightened him. What haunted him was the inescapable danger of the forbidden technique Izanagi. Even Andrew, with all his Uchiha blood and abilities, found himself cursing his ancestors. Their power was so great that defeating them completely was often harder than defeating gods.

Eventually, Andrew found peace in one realization: his role was not to stop Akatsuki, nor to slay Black Zetsu. Those burdens belonged to the Chosen Children of the Sage of Six Paths—Naruto and Sasuke. His mission was simpler: survive, protect his legacy, and ensure the Uchiha clan endured.

He even reminded himself, Susanoo had resisted Infinite Tsukuyomi in the original history. With his own strength and the support of the mysterious Evernight System, he was confident he could withstand it as well. Once the Ōtsutsuki bloodline was within reach, his Sharingan and any Byakugan he might obtain would undergo a qualitative leap. From there, immunity to Infinite Tsukuyomi was no longer a dream but an expectation.

And so, Andrew set aside the pursuit of Akatsuki and turned his gaze to what mattered most—the future of Uchiha and the reconstruction of the ninja world after war.

Three Years of Change

Three years passed like the blink of an eye.

By now, it was the graduation year for Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.

In these three years, thanks to the expansive Uchiha business network, friction among the Five Great Nations had greatly diminished. Trade created dependence, and dependence bred restraint. As long as no one deliberately provoked conflict, large-scale wars simply didn't occur.

Villages used this opportunity to recuperate, rebuild, and prepare for the inevitable next era of chaos.

Meanwhile, Akatsuki was nowhere to be found. Only Rock Shinobi and Cloud Shinobi persisted in searching actively. The other three villages kept up minimal surveillance but had neither the energy nor the will to make Akatsuki their top priority.

Sand Village focused on its own growth. Kazekage Rasa spent more time mining gold dust than acting like a leader. The desert's wealth was finally being tapped, and Rasa had no intention of losing the chance.

Mist Village struggled in silence. The scars left by Obito's manipulations ran deep. Rebuilding was difficult, and they relied heavily on outside alliances for elite support. For a Great Village, such dependence was shameful, but they had no choice.

Konoha was left in ruins politically. Sarutobi Hiruzen, whose once-perfect hand had been shattered, now spent his days plugging holes—his own mistakes, Danzo's manipulations, and the blunders of the former council elders.

The Rain Shinobi battle had exposed everything. The world now knew about Konoha's internal corruption, the strange overgrowth of certain clans, and the hypocrisy of its leadership. Ninjas were no fools—what had been hidden before was now glaringly obvious.

To placate the public, Hiruzen had no choice but to atone openly as Hokage, spending three years trying to balance the chaos. It was the only meaningful act he achieved in his later reign.

As for Uchiha? No one in Konoha dared touch them anymore.

The Uchiha Group was now an international powerhouse, partnered even with the Five Great Villages. Their Evernight City flourished so brightly that even the Daimyo of Fire personally visited each year, lodging there and granting his favor to Andrew and the clan.

To make things more striking, Tsunade and Jiraiya often visited the city, and Tsunade herself even purchased a mansion, proudly displaying the Senju clan emblem on its gates. The sight stunned many—Senju and Uchiha, side by side again. For the elders of Konoha, it was like witnessing the founding days of the village reborn, but this time, legitimacy seemed to lie not in Konoha, but in Evernight City.

The Roar of Steel

At the gates of Konoha, the unexpected sound of an engine's roar echoed through the air.

The guards froze. A gleaming blue iron box on four rapidly spinning wheels approached the gate at terrifying speed. Upon its front shone the Uchiha clan's emblem, bold and unmistakable.

The iron box did not slow down. Even as it neared the entrance, it showed no intention of stopping. Just as the guards prepared to intercept—the machine halted smoothly and perfectly in front of them.

From inside, a familiar voice rang out.

"Although I'm no longer a Konoha advisor, Uchiha are still Konoha shinobi, aren't we? You won't refuse me entry, will you?"

The window rolled down, and Andrew leaned his head out with a smirk.

The guards could only gape. The first Uchiha supercar had arrived at Konoha's gates.

---

Andrew's New Duty

Andrew wasn't here merely to flaunt his invention. Sasuke had just graduated, and it was time for team assignments. Fugaku, still a cautious and protective father, entrusted Andrew with guiding Sasuke personally.

Though Sasuke had trained occasionally in Evernight City, his growth in Konoha had not been as intense as the Uchiha elders wished. Fugaku wanted his son sharpened to perfection—he could not afford Sasuke to fall behind.

Thus, Andrew, who had once stepped back from politics, now returned as the guiding hand behind Sasuke's path.

The supercar's arrival was not just a display of technology, but a declaration: the Uchiha were stepping fully into the new age.
