When Wen Kang saw the masked man, his sleepiness disappeared instantly. Struggling to push himself up from the cold stone floor, Wen Kang looked toward the masked man's hand.
The second he saw the bundle in the masked man's hand, still dripping blood onto the floor, his eyes flickered with excitement.
Before he could ask anything, the masked man took out a long silver pin and unlocked the lock.
Careful not to make a sound, the masked man removed the chain, then opened the cell door. Throwing the bundle toward Wen Kang, he said coldly, "The mission is complete."
Without waiting for Wen Kang's reaction, he closed the cell door and locked it again. In the next second, he disappeared without a trace.
Looking at the now-empty corridor, Wen Kang reached for the cloth bundle. He paused for a few seconds before opening it. When he saw the severed head, Wen Kang was stunned.
A brief moment later, he suddenly laughed maniacally.
"He really is dead! Ha ha ha! He is finally dead!"
