she took out her pencil case, Mrs. Burner said they where doing a group activity! Everyone got into groups with their friends but Cassie had no one. well except for Jake but he went with all his friends and of course, Selena... Cassie couldn't stop looking at her. Her red lipstick and blonde her made Cassie feel angry.
"how could he date someone as ugly!" She thought.
Mrs. Burner came up to Cassie and asked her if she's alright. Of course Cassie said yes but... you know, she was lying!
"you okay Cassie I've never seen you so upset! are you having a bad day?"
Cassie didn't reply she just sat there in silence. Mrs. Burner walked away back to her desk sipping her coffee.

The next period it was lunch, which for Cassie was her favourite time of the day. but not today as Jake and Selena where going to be there. she got her food and just sat at a random table, and thats when a girl joined her. She didn't look familiar, Cassie just stared at her in awkward silence. after 3 minutes she began to talk.
"hi Im Claudia... Im new here." she said biting her lips...
"umm.. Im Cassie... Hi..." said Cassie back.
The girls where chatting for about 20 more minutes when Claudia asked this question.
"do you have a boyfriend?" she said.
"umm.. actually no, he broke up with me today..." said Cassie shaking her voice.
"aw! really? that sucks!"
