Chapter 2 - The Loosing Dance.

Even though she had prepared herself for a fight, something still didn't fit right in her head. It was clear that this was a werewolf, not just any werewolf, but one of Quinsela's army, among the strongest.

If this was just some kind of a distraction mission or send a message mission, she could have send just any other of her soldier, but a werewolf... something just didn't fit right.

It was more like she needed this to be done, no guesses, clear and sure work, that made the old woman to question her surroundings while wondering what was so special.

But it wasn't like the wolf was just planing to stand there and let her sort the puzzle out. No. It pointed its claws towards the bus while certainly aiming somewhere behind the driver and the old woman, and as it tightened its muscles, its clawed nails shot forward like a bullet at a bullent besting speed while heading towards the bus.

Instinctively, the woman stomped her feet on the bus metal and an Ice wall rose right in front of her and blocked the nails. But the shock on her eyes couldn't fade after noticing countless cracks forming on the ice wall after the impact, with the nails nearly escaping through to the other side.

This was followed by a loud howl that vibrated through the forest, as if the wolf had been angered even more and now it was calling for blood, more blood.

The howl was terrifying enough that forced the already cracked ice wall to shutter into pieces and now, instead of the wolf to focus its anger behind the lady like it had previously done, its terrifying purple glowing eyes that were burning of rage were now dead locked on the woman.

"What did I do now?" The lady complain, almost taking a step back the moment her eyes were locked on the wolf.

It was clear that being inside the bus wouldn't grand her a fighting opportunity, thus, she extended her right palm and a long Ice spear was formed. The same happened on her left hand where a round shield of about 30 centimeters materialized.

"This is gonna be tough!" She muttered, almost speaking to herself as she rose her feet, ready to walk out through the broken windscreen and face the wolf.

But in the process, the driver grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

"Wait! You can't win." He muttered while quickly dashed to his side and pulled out a small porch.

"For a moment I thought you wanted to fight it on my behalf." The old woman sarcastically spoke, knowing clearly that would never happen.

"Not a chance." The driver quickly responded while opening the porch on his hand and exposing mini bottles containing potion of different colors.

He then looked around and pulled out a certain bottle containing a pink potion and gave it to the lady. "But a have something that would surely help." He muttered.

"This is my latest creations. It does not only grant you strength boost, your agility and stima would be heightened as well." He muttered with a smile over his face. "And most importantly, your FE would be ten times strong than it previously was."

"You sound so sure." She spoke while taking the potion. "Is the effect permanent?" She asked while gulping it down her throat.

"You know very well no one has ever created anything of the sort." He responded.

Of course she could tell how effective the portion was as she could experience some vibrant energy circulating allover her body. She knew with this, she would at least have some fighting chances, and she wouldn't be walking to a suicide fight like she was previously walking to.

But before she walked out, she looked at the driver with a questioning eyes that forced him to flinch.

"What?" He asked while giving her a side eye.

"You don't happen to have any lust potion, do you?"

"I do." He responded with a questioning expression.

"Ouhhh. You nasty little thing." She responded while giving out a faked shocked expression.

"What? They are highly marketable, most halfbloods use them for dual cultivation."

"Let me have three." She demanded.

"I don't understand." He muttered while pulling three bottle containing colorless potion. "Why would you want them?" He asked, but instead of being answered, she just grabbed the portion on his hand gulped it down her throat at a go.

"I just needed some little more motivation." She whispered while bitting her lower lips as some new sensations crisscrossrd allover her entire body. "I feel so young again."

The sensation was good, making every inch of her cells to vibrate in a pleasing manner. It was more like she was riding the clouds, sending her to a fantasy world of her own.

But this all didn't last long as a fingernail was send flying towards her direction with a killing intend.

Responding to this, she effortlessly rose her shield and blocked the incoming attack, deflecting it away as it was send flying to the top of the roof. But unlike before, not even a scratch was seen left on her shield.

"Now you don't get to distract a lady during her happy hour." She shouted with her eyes locked on the wolf, and as she did, the spikes materialized all over the ice shield on her hand.

She didn't wast time as she spun around and launched the shield right at the wolf's face. It was fast, but it effortless leaned to the side and twisted its head backwards and making the shield to miss it.

But as it retraved its head. It met a knee right on the face that lifted it to the air and send its entire body flying backwards.

But it wasn't like she was just planing to let it go like that. She had been facing such opponents for quite a long time and understood their resilience. And thus, she twisted her feet and and formed an Ice floor at a landing intend of the wolf.

She didn't form the ice floor just to act as a landing bed for the wolf, no. Sharp and hardened spikes appeared allover the floor, making the wolf to land right on top of them.

But of course that was never enough, and she knew it. Thus, an ice club with spikes all over it materialized on her hand.

She then launched herself to the air and landed right on top of the wolf with the club raised right above her head.

And with all the strength she could gather, she stricked down, aiming at the wolf's head and smashing it wide opened, sendind its brain painting allover the place.

"I didn't know the potion was that effective." The driver muttered, not making sense of how quick the wolf was delt with. "No. I can't even tell what portion kicked in better." He muttered.

But before they could even start celebrating their christmas, a painful scream escaped the old lady's mouth, as a claw had just penetrate through her back and came out from the chest.

She twisted her head to the side and her eyes saw the light flickering, shifting, and right behind her, another werewolf appeared with a more terrifying aura than the one before.

"How did that... Magic. No... Wolves can't use magic." The driver found himself stammering and lost in his own thoughts.

It didn't make any sense. As it has always been known, werewolves can't use magic. Even a cloaking potion would never work on them and yet, this wolf seemed to have used a cloaking on itself, just waiting for the right moment to strike.

Thinking this was the worse of it, a sizzling sounds started coming from all around the bus and some distance in the forest. And a second later a eleven purple portals were created, and stepping out were eleven more werewolves.

"But of course, they always do hunt in pack, the driver muttered to himself." But how are they able to utilize magic?" He muttered, lost in words.
