Vesemir woke up in a bed that... was like a gentle cloud he lay on... The reality of the situation slowly came back to him... The girl... Bandits... A clown that attacked him with a sword made of...hair? Then another lady, dressed... strangely, if Vesemir could put it like that... then there was a sharp pain in his side... he turned around, ready to finish him off...and...darkness...
There is... no pain. He touched the place where the wound should be but... there was a white Band-Aid...and no pain, no discomfort even... how? He looked around... and he found himself in a room with a couple more beds, shelves partially made of glass with some strange equipment in some of them, a desk with books... and a dim small light...that was steady... but how? A flicker of flames should change the intensivity of the light at least to minimum... so it can't be a fire... magic of some sort?
And Vesemir moved his gaze through the clear as drop of water windows... perfect glass, flawless... and behind it... high square buildings... that he never saw... There were even high towers made of glass... with strange lights inside which also did not flicker... His mother told him once about a theory of different words... that she herself was in a world where people flew on mechanical horses, lived in high great buildings made of glass... or something like that... Vesemir never truly believed in her stories... until now...
But it's not a time to admire the views. He needs to get out of here... quietly, fast and without raising the guards to alert... First things first...
Localize his weapons
Localize his armor full of gold
Localize the rest of the equipment
Finally, leave
The rest didn't matter... so he turned to the exit where the doors were, walked towards it and... there was no door handle... So he tried to push it... nothing... Pulling it... also didn't work... So this must have been his 'prison' cell... and as his hand rested on the door at an angle... the doors moved left...opening themselves...inside the wall? In the name of everything that is normal... who was sooo insane to create a door that moves not forward, backwards but to the side!
What does the information he gathered in those couple of minutes tell him?
One - His 'jailor' is a wealthy person.
Two - That person was wealthy enough to put him in a luxury room... definitely made for jailed nobles...
Three - Powerful enough that there are no guards, and he woke up without shackles... so the guards must be outside, patrolling the corridors.
We walked out of the room and looked around the corridor. Many doors just like this one here on the side. Even more windows are made of pure glass than Vesemir used to scout the outside... No one is there. As he sneaked through the corridor he saw many strange black half balls, possibly made of glass, in the corners of the ceiling. Most likely decorations... ugly ones, but who was he to judge a taste in art?

Nezu was sleeping when a gentle alarm from cameras woke him up. He walked to his laptop and saw... that young boy who was sneaking through the corridors. It was interesting how he was able to wake up so quickly after his operation and use Recovery Girl's quirk. She even said that according to her knowledge and expertise, the boy should sleep for at least 24 hours before he finally wakes up. It looks like a boy has a quirk on his own that lets him heal himself even when he is unconscious. His blood was sent to the friendly lab to see if he was in the database and if he had any family. But for now, Nezu could not let him just walk around. Aizawa and Kayama were in their apartments in UA as part of the UA staff. He made a call on their phones.
Both of them answered quickly as it was an emergency line of contact.
Nezu started. "I'm sorry for waking both of you so late, but our guest just woken up, and he is sneaking on the corridors. Aizawa, please erase his quirk if necessary. Kayama. He has already seen you. You will be the voice of reason. Calm him down and bring him to my office."
Yui also woke up to her aunt's alarm and heard the conversation, as she stayed in her apartment for a night as it was too late to travel. Just before Midnight managed to answer the principal, she said, "I'm coming too. I spoke with him."
Eraserhead was grumpy. Some boy decided to walk around the school property at night and now another child wants to make his work harder. So, of course, he responded, "Out of the question. This boy has a dangerous quirk that we don't know much about. You would be in danger."
Yui knew that she had only one chance to convince them. So she said, "He had more than a moment to hurt me. He didn't. He wanted to help me. Now it's my turn to do the same. Aunt Nemuri... Prinpipal Nezu... please... let me try... This is a hero way."
Midnight was suprised by her niece's actions. Normally quiet and rarely expresses emotions... kinda kudere, but now she was focused and even eager to help. She looked back at her phone to look at Nezu's face... and he was smiling.
"Very well young Kodai. There will be two pro heroes, so you should be safe. But you must do as they say. If they tell you to run away... you will. Understood?"
"Yes... thank you, Sir." Yui's cold demeanor turned on again.
Aizawa grunted something under his nose but nodded to Nezu and turned his phone off. He jumped off his bed and quickly dressed up in his hero suit. As a pro hero who works underground, he did it fast and off he went through his window to reach for the lantern with his scarf. He swung fast to the building where his target was walking freely. And of course he was much faster than Midnight, because of ther niece.

Vesemir heard a strange sound... and moments later he felt like fresh air reaching him. Alone in the corridor, he sneaked to the first door he was close to and opened it the same way as those in his cell. A room with one big desk, twenty smaller ones. All with chairs. More clear windows, but this time on both sides of the room. It was a bad situation. He had to hide close to the corridor, so a potential enemy could not see him through the window. So he crouched. Hiding close to the doors... that was... actually huge... A rider with his horse could enter this room without a problem.
He slowed his heart beating as he heard the footsteps. He was ready to do what he needed to protect himself.
Step. Step. Step. Step. STOP.
Somebody was close to the... opened doors. Vesemir was furious at himself. Why did he not close those damned doors...? No matter what explanation he had for this... he fucked up, but he can overturn this failure... with a flicker of hands...

And a magical trap was set.
.
.
.
"Look kid. I understand that you are scared and disoriented, but play time is over. Get out or I will come for you." Said Aizawa with a tired voice.
"You, Sir, are not in a position to make any demands towards me." sounded a response from Vesemir. Aizawa felt something in the way he spoke... a dare and a promise... to fight.
Easerhead prepared his scarf and entered through open doors, ready to capture the kid only to... fall right into the prepared trap. He felt as if his speed was greatly reduced, a scarf that was already rushing to a kid... slowered... and now he saw the kid's face. Face of a warrior who knew how to use his skills. He was wearing a white t-shirt with white shorts and was barefoot.
"May you tell me good Sir, why did you took my possessions away?" The calm voice of a young boy reached to displeased Aizawa.
"Release me boy. In. This. Moment." Growled Aizawa back.
"Ah so... I don't believe that you are in a position to make any demands, Sir. Just like I told you before. Now be a man of culture and answer me a couple questions, will you? Where am I? Where is my equipment? "Why am I here?" Once again asked Vesemir. This time his voice was cold. Too cold for a kid to have. At least that was what Aizawa thought. There was no other choice than to play his game in the hope that Midnight would arrive soon... she would never let him forget about this humiliation...
"You are at UA. You were wounded, and we took care of you." He answered loudly.
"And what is that UA, my good Sir?"
Aizawa frowned. What did he mean? He was sure that the kid was joking until he looked into his face and his expression told him... that the boy really didn't know.
"It's a school for heroes. Best in the world"
He looked like this white-haired boy made a gesture with his hands and he felt that the trap he walked into was...renewed? So there is a time limit... good to know... but it's time to use his quirk at the boy.
*Yrden*
After using his quirk, the underground hero was still trapped by the boy's abilities. Not good.
"And what do heroes do?"
Aizawa was in shock. Did that kid really know nothing about modern society? The knowledge about the heroes was as common as the knowledge that humans need to breathe.
"Licensed heroes use their quirks to fight crime, help civilians and other things where hero intervention is needed. "Do you really don't know it, boy?"
"Yes Sir. I really don't have any idea what you are talking about."
Vesemir heard footsteps in the corridor.
"Expecting backup?" he asked. Again with a cold voice with a hint of anger.
Eraserhead looked at the young boy with interest. He did not hear anybody coming, but there was no reason to lie to the boy. Not when he did not hurt Midnight's niece, but when he could.
"Two women. You already know them if I'm not mistaken. Now release me boy and don't worsen your situation."
Vesemir looked at the man... he is not armed... or he had hidden his weapons under his clothing... but remembering his training he knew... that the man was untrustworthy. At least for now, he had to make a decision, and had to make it fast. And he did.
*Yrden*
He used sign again to buy himself some time.
"I'm sorry Sir, but I can't trust you. I don't wish to do you any harm. I shall leave as soon as I can and if you decide to follow me, there will be a fight."
"Don't threaten me, boy. Don't make it worse than it already is."
"I do not make threats, Sir. I make promises. Good night to you."
Vesemir made a proper Nilfgaardian bow, and left the room, running in the opposite direction. At the crossroads, he once again used his spell. This time creating two traps one beside another.

.
Nemuri and Yui heard Aizawa speaking. He had to speak to the young swordsman. There was no other way.
As they reached the classroom, Aizawa slowly was walking out of it, very slowly.
"Aizawa what happened!" asked Midnight
"Kid have slowing down quirk. The worst of it is that I can't erase it"
"Where is he now?"
"Go straight and turn left. I saw how he went there. I will join you as fast as I can."
Midnight started to run, Yui right behind her. Just as the first of them turned left... the trap activated and Yui saw as her aunt slowed rapidly to snail speed.
"I'm going after him!" Said Yui.
"Yui no!" shouted her aunt, but it was too late. She rushed fast.
.
.
.
Nezu watched with interest how the young boy used his quirk to stop Aizawa. He heard the conversation they had and was... interested. So much potential. As Midnight was also slowed down and young Kodai left her behind... Nezu did nothing to stop her. He knew that a boy had no reason to hurt her. He saved her before, and he had already managed to obtain a video from a nearby security camera of how this boy fought, and how he saved the girl. He just watched and grinned.
.
.
.
Dead end. Couple closed doors and incoming footsteps. Vesemir was ready to break the doors down with a proper sign when a voice reached him.
"Please! Stop!" Yui said loudly, trying not to scream at Vesemir.
He waited. So that man did not lie to him... or... she was also a prisoner.
Yui turned another left and saw him. A boy who saved her life. A boy who was bleeding out because of her. A boy who was scared of his surroundings... at least she thought it was a problem.
"Please. Don't run anymore. We just want to help you."
Ahh. So she is not a prisoner. "Help?"
"Yes. Help. Recovery Girl saved your life. She did an operation. She took out the knife you got stabbed with and you recovered so quickly... she said that It will take more time for you to just wake up. Please. I understand that you are confused, but you are among friends. Just trust us a little. That's all I ask." She ended her speech with a tear dropping from her eye.
"I'm... sorry for causing trouble. It was not my intention to hurt anybody just... "I have had a bad experience with being taken against my will" said Vesemir with honest sorrow and sadness.
Yui's heart ached. Was he kidnapped? This must be an answer to why he acted like he did with Mr. Brave and later with Eraserhead. "I promise. You are safe here. Nobody will hurt you. Principal Nezu wishes to talk with you. Please... just come with me."
Other steps.
A moment later Midnight and Eraserhead turned left to see Yui speaking with the boy. Aizawa was ready to attack, but Nemuri put her hand on his shoulder and said, "Let me handle it. I think that kids don't really trust you at the moment. I at least have a clean record with him."
He nodded and stayed back as a backup if something went wrong.
Vesemir just watched as another woman...the one who he had seen earlier, slowly came to the girl, standing next to her and said, "I'm sorry Vesemir. You woke up at night and there was no one to tell you what is going on. Are you unharmed?"
"I believe so Madam. I believe that I owe you an apology. Please, forgive me for... acting on my instincts. To you Sir, I also beg for your forgiveness as I believed that you wish to deceive me." Vesemir bowed slightly.
Aizawa nodded, suprised by the manners of the boy.
"It's all right kid. Our principal wants to talk with you. You will get all the answers we can give you there."
"Vesemir-san. Please. Just come with us. "It's okay..." said Yui again. Full of hope that any misunderstandings will be resolved soon.
Vesemir looked at her, trying to understand what that 'san' was, but they were right. This was not a place for a proper conversation.
"Shall we go then to the Headmaster?"
