Yue Ran was an immortal who lived most of his life in solitude 
Accompanied only by his master on an unnamed mountain.

However, one day he started wandering around the mortal realm disguising himself as a humble daoist in hopes of finding answers in order to understand his master's words.

His journey took him to the northern lands, a land that acted as a border between the demons and the mortals.

while passing by, he came across an abandoned village near the mountains.

Another snowstorm was about to fall.

There, as he searched for a shelter to pass the night,
 He heard a faint sound.

A place where nothing lived he found a boy on the verge of death
As he asks a question that he himself could hardly understand

He decided to save the boy and allow him to tag along as a companion through his journey even though he did not know the boy's true nature.

They encountered many things together but one day, 
Before even realising, the boy had grown into an adult
And from then on their relationship took a strange turn...

In my defense I have a pretty good reason, 


So there was a civil war in our state, and we had an internet shutdown for more than a week, althought it did not escalate too much, there were a lot of curfews and we couldn't easily move from here to there, and academic work piled up and all that but that's just my excuse lol, 


But yeah, I'll be back with a new chapter (I've been working on it) by Sunday MAX or even earlier,
