Chapter 2 - Let go to see hunting

Raiku was amazed by the strange mechanism of this new world. His eyes sparkled as he looked around, overwhelmed with wonder.

"Alright, tomorrow I'll take you to see monster hunting," Denzo said with a grin.(Denzo is MC's father name)

He acted like a child to look usually.

"Yay! Papa is the best!" Raiku shouted, his tiny arms flailing in joy.

Denzo smiled warmly. Watching his son so happy—this moment was precious.

Suddenly, Genji, Raiku's mother, appeared like a ghost, her presence heavy with silent rage. A chilling killing intent filled the air.

"Oh dear," she said sweetly, but with a tone sharp as steel. "Don't you think it's dangerous to take him? He's too small right now."

Before Denzo could respond, Genji grabbed him by the collar and dragged him into another room.

A while later, Denzo returned—his face bore a red, hand-shaped mark, and two small bumps had formed on his forehead. He stood tall, but his pride clearly took more damage than his body.

Raiku chuckled inwardly.

"Papa! I must go! I want to see the monsters you killed!" he pleaded, using his most innocent and adorable expression.

Denzo gulped but stood his ground. "Okay, I'll take you! Your father's not afraid of your mom!"

The next day…

Raiku crawled across the floor toward his father. His tiny bones weren't strong enough to walk yet, but that didn't stop him.

"Papa! Papa! Are we going to see the monsters today?"

Denzo ruffled his hair. "First, let's have some breakfast."

After eating, they prepared to leave. As they stood near the door, Genji's cold gaze locked onto them.

"Let's wait," Denzo said, stepping forward. "Genji, please… let us go. We won't go deep into the forest. He just wants to see. He wants to learn how I hunt. This is how he'll gain knowledge."

Denzo's voice softened. "Don't you think he's a genius? If we restrict him, we'll only hold him back. As parents, it's our duty to support his growth. Please."

Genji stared at them for a long moment, then sighed.

"…Fine. But don't take him deep into the forest."
