"That thing you've always wanted?"
Dai Chengfeng's pointed words initially left Bibi Dong confused, but soon, a certain "strange" idea that Dai Chengfeng had repeatedly pressed her with—only to be firmly rejected each time—flashed through her mind.
Instantly, her purple pupils contracted sharply, and her face flushed with heat.
"You… don't even think about it!"
Bibi Dong blurted out almost instinctively, her voice tinged with panic and embarrassment. She shook her head vigorously like a rattle drum.
"No!"
"Absolutely not!"
"Don't even think about it!"
"The mouth… is only for eating! I can't believe how many… how many absurd ideas you come up with!"
Seeing Bibi Dong's intense reaction, Dai Chengfeng sighed inwardly, "Still no luck?"
But outwardly, he remained persistent.
Dai Chengfeng thought this was a good opportunity, taking advantage of Bibi Dong's jealousy and the sense of crisis she felt…
Otherwise, who knew when he would find such a chance again—it could be years away.
Thinking this, Dai Chengfeng wrapped his arms around Bibi Dong's waist, tracing circles lightly on her smooth abdomen with his nails, while burying his face in the crook of her neck, starting to act spoiled.
"If you don't agree with me, Teacher, then I won't leave!"
"Anyway, you have a meeting later, so I'll just wait here. After your meeting, we can continue 'discussing' this."
"You're threatening me?" Bibi Dong narrowed her eyes slightly.
Dai Chengfeng raised his head, his face full of "wrongedness" and "complaint," beginning an endless tirade: "How dare I threaten you, Teacher?"
"It's just that, Teacher, think about it—how long has it been?"
"You say no to this, forbid that… and every time, in the end, you just… just use your hands to placate me… waaah!"
"I'm suffering here!"
As Dai Chengfeng continued to speak more and more outrageously, even describing details that made her blush furiously, Bibi Dong completely abandoned her composure. In a panic, she hurriedly covered his mouth with her hand, her cheeks burning as if they might bleed, glaring at him in both anger and shame:
"You! Shut up! Don't say these things!"
This was the Pope's Hall! Although there was no one around, just imagining those words echoing in this solemn hall was enough to make Bibi Dong feel utterly humiliated.
And although Dai Chengfeng's mouth was covered by Bibi Dong's hand, he still blinked his eyes at her, filled with defiance and a stubborn determination that said, "If you don't agree, I'll keep making trouble."
The two were locked in a stalemate—one utterly mortified, the other persistently unruly.
After a while, as the meeting time drew closer, Bibi Dong seemed to have completely given up.
Her hand covering Dai Chengfeng's mouth loosened slightly and fell limply to her side.
"You…"
Bibi Dong sighed deeply, her exquisite face filled with helplessness, embarrassment, and a resignation that bordered on acceptance.
She turned her face away, unable to meet Dai Chengfeng's eyes. Her voice was as soft as a mosquito's buzz, almost squeezed out through gritted teeth: "…Alright… but… only once!"
She emphasized this, quickly adding, "Tonight… wait until tonight, and come to my room… Not now. I really have important matters to discuss later, so I must… must stay clear-headed and composed."
It was as if saying these words drained all her strength.
Heavens knew how the mighty Pope of the Spirit Hall could be forced into making such a promise by her own disciple.
"Really?"
Dai Chengfeng's eyes instantly lit up with ecstatic joy. The expression of grievance and complaint vanished from his face, replaced by a radiant, triumphant smile.
He leaned in and planted a loud kiss on Bibi Dong's burning cheek.
"It's a deal! Teacher, you're the best!"
"Then I won't disturb you while you handle important matters. I'll come see you tonight!"
With his goal achieved, Dai Chengfeng immediately became incredibly "obedient."
He carefully helped Bibi Dong off his lap, even fussing over smoothing out her slightly disheveled papal robe and hair.
Bibi Dong, still blushing, swatted away his mischievous hands and tried to regain her usual cold and dignified demeanor, though with little success.
"Now… immediately… get out of here!"
"Yes, yes, yes, I'm leaving, I'm leaving!"
Dai Chengfeng cheerfully agreed, finally satisfied, glancing back several times as he walked toward the Pope's Hall door.
Watching his smug figure disappear behind the heavy doors as they slowly closed, Bibi Dong finally let herself relax completely. Her body swayed slightly, and she reached out to steady herself against the back of the Pope's throne.
She raised her hand, her fingertips gently brushing her still-burning lips and the earlobe that retained a moist sensation.
Finally, she helplessly touched the fresh hickey on her pale neck.
"This… insolent disciple…"
Bibi Dong muttered under her breath, her tone complex and indiscernible, even to herself.
...
Dai Chengfeng stepped out of the Pope's Hall with a light step. The bright afternoon sunlight bathed him, giving him an almost dazzling golden glow.
He took a deep breath of fresh air, feeling his chest expand with exhilaration. Even the solemn architecture of Spirit City seemed more approachable and pleasant.
He practically hummed a tune as he walked back.
In his mind, he kept replaying Bibi Dong's embarrassed and ultimately resigned expression.
Her barely audible whisper—"Just once… tonight…"—rang in his ears like the most beautiful celestial music.
"After countless attempts, subtle probing, and even leveraging her occasional hints of jealousy and insecurity, today I've finally made a breakthrough!"
Dai Chengfeng smiled. This wasn't just a promise of "benefits"—it was a strong signal.
It meant that his noble and aloof teacher was gradually lowering her guard, dismantling her defenses, and tacitly allowing, even beginning to respond to, his increasingly bold demands.
Dai Chengfeng could almost see the day when he would fully claim this proud flower of the Pope's Hall.
Not far away!
For a moment, Dai Chengfeng couldn't suppress the smile on his lips—a mixture of triumph, anticipation, and a burning desire that added a touch of devilish charm to his already handsome face.
Soon, Dai Chengfeng returned to his courtyard in an excellent mood.
As he entered the gate, two graceful figures came into view.
Zhu Zhuqing sat quietly at the stone table, flipping through a scroll on Spirit Fusion Techniques.
Her posture was upright, her curves stunning, and even in repose, she exuded an aura of cool focus.
On the other side.
Hu Liena practiced her combat skills in the open space of the courtyard. Her movements were light and graceful, each turn carrying a natural allure.
The two women had vastly different styles but were equally rare beauties in the world.
