Chapter 321 - Chapter 321: The Secret of the Jōgan

Uchiha Kirin drew in a deep breath.

From the void, he pulled out a scythe. Strange crystals clung to its blade, reflecting the cosmos and the passage of time.

All of his Six Paths Limbo clones stepped forth at once, instantly surrounding Ōtsutsuki Ryūshiki and the Sage of Six Paths. Together they unleashed a barrier, binding the two.

Before either of them could even speak, Kirin's true body emerged from the void.

With a single stroke, Ōtsutsuki Ryūshiki was split in half without ever realizing it.

The Sage of Six Paths thrust forward with the Spear, but Kirin's figure vanished like a ghost—only to reappear behind him.

The Sage was impaled from the back.

In that instant, even beings of their level found their time completely frozen.

A pitch-black vortex appeared.

Kirin activated 〖Heaven-Reversing Devour〗, swallowing both into his inner universe.

Afterward, he cast a long glance toward the Shinobi World—already reduced to a meteorite wasteland—before slipping away into the starry sky.

...

Yet, at the very moment he struck them down, Ōtsutsuki Ryūshiki awakened just in time. With his last breath, he transmitted vast amounts of intelligence about Uchiha Kirin.

In an instant, Kirin became an interstellar fugitive.

Countless clans and alliances—those seeking favor from the Ōtsutsuki, or hoping to open ties with them—placed bounties on his head and hunted him.

But despite the uproar, Kirin had already drained both Ryūshiki and the Sage of Six Paths of all their power. With their strength, he patched the flaws of insufficient accumulation—his lack of energy and incomplete mastery of rules within.

Now, he was stepping into an entirely new level of life, one worthy of being called a 〖Celestial God〗.

At this level, unless he encountered the Ōtsutsuki Patriarch himself, Kirin was practically unstoppable in the cosmos. No mere coalition or race that still relied on the Ōtsutsuki's favor could hope to contend with him.

Even so, to buy himself time to fully unravel and integrate the powers of the Sage and Ryūshiki into his own system, he chose to conceal himself.

Years passed before he appeared again.

By then, Uchiha Kirin had advanced even further. With the aid of time itself, his progress had been hundreds, even thousands of times faster than that of any other being.

Now, he had perfectly mastered both the Sage of Six Paths' and Ryūshiki's power.

Like a phantom, he descended upon every clan that had once condemned him or helped the Ōtsutsuki hunt him down.

One by one, he refined them into pills or converted them into fruits to consume, continuously stockpiling his strength.

At his current level, what he lacked was no longer rules or techniques, but something far more fundamental—〖Origin〗.

And the world power flowing within his body was that Origin.

To amass more Origin, he could either wait through endless years of accumulation… or devour it from outside, refine it, and transform it into his own.

This, of course, incensed the Ōtsutsuki clan.

Such acts threatened their reputation too severely. It could scatter their prestige across the stars.

The clan's patriarch, Ōtsutsuki Shinsiki, was expected to emerge soon. But "soon" for a being at his level still meant nearly ten years. Unless the clan faced absolute annihilation, he would not break his seclusion prematurely.

Thus, the Ōtsutsuki dispatched countless True Gods and Celestial God to pursue Kirin.

...

But Uchiha Kirin was no prey.

Though he failed to obtain the Jōgan's power—or refine it into fruit or pill—he had no intention of reincarnating into Boruto's body.

He had discovered that the world power flowing within him, together with the time-space crystals, could continuously analyze and display the Jōgan's power to him.

And what that eye revealed was none other than the path the Ōtsutsuki God had walked himself.

A road straight to the heavens—no wonder the Sage of Six Paths and Ryūshiki had clashed over it.

But to walk it was to become nothing more than a second Ōtsutsuki God.

Not only in strength, but even in will, one would become his mirror.

That, Uchiha Kirin could never accept.

Fortunately, he had long since forged his own path. To him, the Ōtsutsuki God's experience was merely a reference.

And so, he turned the Ōtsutsuki hunters into his nourishment.

When he had amassed enough pills and fruits, he devoured them all in one go, once again advancing to a higher life tier.

Harnessing this surge of power, he fused his two greatest ocular jutsu—the Nine-Tomoe Rinnegan and the Tenseigan.

A pair of eyes, resembling yet distinct from the Jōgan, were born:

〖Rinne Tenseigan〗.

...

As time flowed, Uchiha Kirin chose to scatter himself with the Rinne Tenseigan's power, splitting into countless avatars cast into every starfield to cultivate and accumulate strength.

Eventually, they reunited. By then, his power had already surpassed that of any god visible to existence.

The entire universe was laid bare before him—no secrets, nothing beyond his grasp. It seemed that with one final step, he could transcend this world altogether.

But how to take that last step—that remained the puzzle.

Kirin decided to seek the answer directly from Ōtsutsuki Shinsiki.

He descended upon Takamagahara with overwhelming might.

With a single palm, the ancient barriers of Takamagahara, standing for eons, shattered. Countless gods perished instantly, a rain of blood falling across the realm.

Kirin showed no mercy. Just as the Ōtsutsuki had always treated the Shinobi World—seeing it only as a common planet, its beings as livestock to slaughter or cultivate—he treated the Ōtsutsuki the same.

They were but fodder, to be culled for his nourishment.

The entire Ōtsutsuki homeworld, Takamagahara itself, blazed like a furnace, everything upon it being refined into pills.

"Ōtsutsuki God! Where are you?!"

Some among the clan cried out—only to be dissolved into pure energy, poured into the forming pills.

All the proud energy weapons and technologies the Ōtsutsuki had created flared to life, but to Kirin they were nothing more than passing amusements.

With a snap of his fingers, he could drag back an Ōtsutsuki who had fled with spatial tools, forcing them to watch as their body and soul became ingredients for a pill.

"This feeling… it's just too good!"

Clutching the pills refined from Takamagahara and its billions of Ōtsutsuki, he prepared to swallow them in a single gulp.

"Is that so?"

At some point, a shadow of pitch-black emerged from the void.

Behind it lingered a few surviving Ōtsutsuki ships, carrying the clan's final survivors.

In Shinsiki's hand spun two orbs like black holes, exuding crushing gravity.

From his darkened face, only one thing was visible—

The Jōgan, identical to Boruto's.
