Chapter 126 - Chapter 126: Super Visiting Group! Thor's Wrath!

The sky was dazzlingly clear that day, not a cloud in sight.

Corona Park.

Crowds gathered around the iconic giant globe, their faces filled with anticipation. Phones were raised high in the air, ready to capture what was being called the most historic moment in human history—

Earth's first diplomatic visit to an alien civilization.

As victors of a war, no less.

"God, I thought I was dreaming when I saw the news on Mutant yesterday!"

"Asgard... the mythical realm of the gods, and now we're visiting them?"

"We don't even have functioning interstellar spacecraft, and yet here we are, negotiating as if we're the upper hand!"

"This sounds like something from a movie—no director would even dare write this!"

"Mr. Joseph is truly a pioneer. As the creator of 'Oasis' and the new leader of Mutant, he's ushering humanity into a new age. Who else could pull off something so bold?!"

"Still, is this really okay? Loki is Odin's son. What if the King of the Gods gets angry and sends Asgard's army down to Earth?"

"Unlikely. Thor is clearly siding with Earth, which means even Asgard acknowledges Loki's crimes."

"Besides, if Joseph agreed to go, he must have a plan. There's no way he'd be intimidated."

"Fair point. What I want to know is—which X-Men are going with him?"

The hum of conversation drifted across the park. Tens of thousands of spectators packed the area, making the air hot and stifling. Meanwhile, the live broadcast on Mutant Channel was already underway.

The world held its breath.

And then—

"Look, it's Thor!"

A sonic boom tore through the sky as Thor, wielding Mjolnir, descended like a god among men. He landed hard in the center of the crowd, red cape billowing and gaze stern. He radiated authority.

But his face betrayed irritation.

He had long grown weary of being trapped on Earth. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't find the new Xavier's School or even locate where Loki was being held. The "Oasis" press conference exposed the Second World's ties to the X-Men, but when he came knocking, he was told President Joseph was too busy to see him. Even the scheduled visit to Asgard kept being delayed.

This was nothing short of an insult!

He was the Prince of Asgard—the future king! When had he ever been treated this way?

Thor suspected Joseph was intentionally humiliating Asgard. The thought nearly drove him to destroy the Second World headquarters in a fit of rage. It was only thanks to the Fantastic Four that he held himself back.

Now, finally, Joseph had agreed to the visit.

Thor declined the S.H.I.E.L.D. jet. He flew over himself. And upon landing, he marched over to Shadowcat, who was hosting the live stream.

"Where is Loki?!" he demanded.

No Loki. No Joseph. Not even a single X-Man in sight.

Shadowcat blinked at him, then smirked. "Mr. Thor, this isn't a casual family reunion. This is the first-ever human visit to Asgard. The world is watching. Of course we wouldn't just leave in silence."

Thor clenched his jaw.

Now he understood.

This was no simple prisoner transport.

This was a ceremony—an orchestrated spectacle meant to elevate Earth's status... and, perhaps, humiliate Asgard.

And he had no grounds to protest. Loki was a war criminal. No matter how painful it was to admit, he was still Thor's brother, still a prince of Asgard. But facts were facts.

"Damn you, Loki... I swear I'll pummel you myself."

As he ground his teeth, the air shimmered beside him. A portal of fiery energy rippled into existence, startling the crowd. Yet there was no heat. Only light.

From the flames stepped Joseph.

And behind him—

Loki.

The disgraced prince looked like a shadow of his former self. Pale, eyes squinting from the sunlight as though it burned. Black handcuffs gleamed on his wrists.

"Mr. Joseph! Mr. Joseph! Mr. Joseph!"

Cheers erupted throughout the park.

The crowd's energy surged. Joseph—no, President Joseph—had become a symbol of hope. After the alien invasion, and the exponential rise of Oasis, his influence had skyrocketed. People weren't just playing a game anymore. They were stepping into a new reality.

"Good morning, everyone," Joseph said with an easy smile. "Have you played 'Oasis' today?"

Laughter rang out.

"Of course!"

"I unlocked a new ability yesterday!"

"Dungeon coins are so hard to farm, can we get a buff please?!"

"I learned a cooking skill in the game, and it worked in real life! You're changing the world, Joseph!"

Thor's scowl deepened.

This wasn't diplomacy. This was a parade.

"Joseph... sir," he said through gritted teeth. "Shall we go?"

"Go?" Joseph raised a brow. "Our delegation isn't complete. Surely the Prince of Asgard can wait a few more minutes?"

Delegation?

Thor's heart skipped.

And then—

More portals opened.

Out came Phoenix.

Then Storm.

Cyclops. Polaris. Blink. Nightcrawler.

One after another, X-Men stepped into view. The full teams of Phoenix, Storm, and Cyclops.

Twenty in total.

The main four combat teams.

Thor's palms grew sweaty. The Avengers had thoroughly analyzed each of these teams. They were powerhouses. While Mystique, Kraken, and Gambit led decent squads, these were the elites.

And then—

Iron Man.

Tony Stark landed in his classic red-and-white suit, the sunlight dancing off his armor.

"Sorry I'm late!" he called.

From the rooftops came a shout.

"Me too!"

Spider-Gwen flipped through the air, swinging into view.

Thor's grip tightened on Mjolnir.

Then came another figure—

Tall. Black-haired. Beautiful. Radiating power.

Wonder Woman.

"Mr. Thor," Diana greeted, her eyes flashing toward Joseph. "Mind if I tag along? I'd like to see Asgard myself."

Thor didn't respond.

Joseph merely smiled. Diana was fulfilling her duty as 'Oasis' ambassador to Paradise Island. Of course she had to come.

And then, one final ripple in space.

A man appeared.

Dark skin. Retro clothes. A golden ring glowing faintly on his hand.

Thor's eyes widened. He didn't recognize this man. Not an X-Man. Not an Avenger. Not even listed among Earth's known heroes.

Something was off.

"What are you trying to do?" Thor's voice cracked with fury. "Is Earth declaring war on Asgard?!"

More than twenty superpowered individuals.

Each one powerful.

Diana alone was a threat.

Joseph—unpredictable.

And now a mystery hero?

"Declare war?" Joseph replied calmly. "Not at all. But this is our first inter-realm visit. Shouldn't we show a little... sincerity?"

Thor didn't buy it.

And neither did Nick Fury.

Aboard a late-arriving S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft, the Director growled into his comm.

"Natasha, take Thunderbolt and Susan with you. Follow them to Asgard. Do whatever it takes... but don't come back with Asgard's army behind you."

Black Widow Natasha Romanoff raised an eyebrow.

"Babysitting gods?"

Her voice dripped with sarcasm.

"Great. Just great."

To be continued...
