Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Jehfrit's Mischievous Side

Just at this moment.

'BOOM'

The door was violently kicked open.

A boy with spiky pink hair, accompanied by a flying cat with wings and a beautiful blonde girl, burst in.

"I'm back!"

Natsu shouted.

"Welcome back," everyone in the guild responded with smiles.

"Bastards!"

Natsu immediately started causing chaos as soon as he entered.

"The fire dragon thing was fake, right? How dare you trick me!"

With that, he punched someone flying, smashing several tables and chairs.

"Bastard, Natsu!"

The person who was punched flew back immediately, charging at Natsu and starting a brawl.

Natsu's punch seemed to have flipped some kind of switch; guild members suddenly began fighting each other!

Anyone in sight was grabbed and beaten up!

"Is that idiot Natsu back?!" Gray also woke up and joined the battle.

"Gray!"

"Natsu!"

Ice and fire don't mix - the two immediately pulled out their magic and started fighting.

Suddenly, the entire guild hall was lit up with various magical lights, and the destruction escalated further.

Chairs, floors, even the counter - nothing escaped being damaged. Mira dragged Jehfrit to a corner, looking utterly helpless.

The beautiful blonde girl stood there dumbfounded.

Lucy's mind was full of questions: Is this really Fairy Tail, the famous large guild of the country?

Suddenly, a chair leg came spinning at high speed toward her.

"Be careful, Miss Lucy."

Lucy was pulled aside, dodging the chair leg, but she didn't see it disappear after flying out of the guild doors.

She turned her head and saw a man standing beside her, his style quite different from the other Fairy Tail members.

"Thank you!" Lucy said gratefully, then asked in confusion: "How do you know my name?"

"I am Jehfrit de la Vallière, Viscount of the Vallière family. I saw you at a banquet hosted by your father," Jehfrit smiled.

Lucy was shocked and quickly said: "Please keep it a secret!"

"No problem."

"Please follow me." Jehfrit led Lucy towards Mira.

"Wait, be careful!" Lucy saw the fierce fighting going on, with all sorts of chairs, tables, and magic flying around, yet this man was pulling her through the center of the battlefield!

"Don't worry, we won't get hit," Jehfrit remained calm.

They walked all the way to Mira, and Lucy was still shaken. Chairs, tables, and magic flew over her head, scaring her legs weak, like walking through hell!

But fortunately, they made it safely. She looked ahead.

"Eh?!" Lucy let out a shocked sound.

"Ah?" Mira was slightly surprised too.

Because Mira remembered that when the chaos started, she had pulled Jehfrit to a corner to avoid getting caught in the crossfire.

And Lucy was brought in by Jehfrit from the entrance.

Two Jehfrits?!

Mira's hand-holding Jehfrit smiled: "It's my magic, Miss Lucy, just a minor illusion."

This Jehfrit took out a card, flipping his wrist to reveal a supermarket coupon.

"A modest welcome gift, please accept it."

"Thank you." Lucy took the coupon in a daze.

"So, Mr. Jehfrit." Mira squinted, with a slightly dangerous smile, asking: "Which one is the real you?"

"Well, which one indeed." The Jehfrit next to Lucy gave a mysterious smile.

Mira's eye twitched, her grip on Jehfrit's wrist gradually tightening. Though the touch felt extremely real, she couldn't tell if this was Jehfrit's "deception."

This Mr. Jehfrit seems to be a man with a mischievous side, Lucy thought.

"Enough, you fools!"

Suddenly, a giant appeared, stepping on Natsu with one foot, scaring everyone into freezing in place.

"Oh dear, Master, were you here?" Mira said in surprise.

"Hmm." The giant nodded, looking at Lucy: "A newcomer?"

".Yes," Lucy nodded fearfully.

The giant quickly shrank, finally turning into a small old man wearing comical clothes. He greeted Lucy kindly: "Nice to meet you!"

"Ah?" Lucy looked completely shocked.

"So small, by the way, Master, could it be"

"Yes." Mira introduced with a smile: "This is the master of Fairy Tail, Makarov."

"Hey!"

Makarov flipped onto the second floor but miscalculated the height, hitting his head against the railing!

Suddenly, a hand grabbed him like a doll, lifting him up and placing him on the railing.

"Eh???"

Lucy let out a shocked sound.

The person who acted was none other than Jehfrit!

Makarov stood on the railing and said: "Jehfrit, you're not S-Class, no entering the second floor!"

"Master, I haven't gone to the second floor." A loud response came from near the entrance of the hall.

"Damn it, Jehfrit, stop your tricks!" Makarov roared.

In an instant.

The Jehfrits on the second floor, next to Mira and Lucy, including the one who loudly responded, all disappeared.

At this moment, a person walked in from outside - it was Jehfrit, holding a tall glass filled with orange sparkling fruit drink.

Damn!

At this moment, almost everyone felt a strong urge to punch someone!

After stopping Jehfrit.

Makarov took out a stack of documents and roared at everyone.

"You've caused trouble again, look, the council sent so many complaint files!"

Everyone bowed their heads in shame.

"But!"

Makarov's tone changed, flames rising in his palm, burning all the complaint documents!

He cursed: "Let the council eat shit!"

After cursing, he threw out the fireball, and Natsu flew up and swallowed it in one bite.

"Listen!"

Makarov addressed the guilty and surprised guild members: "Unreasonable power always originates from reason!"

At the entrance.

Jehfrit listened to Makarov's lecture silently, drinking a sip of sparkling water.

He recalled the inspirational words the master once told him.

Magic isn't the power of miracles.

What makes miracles happen are the people who use magic!

But compared to those powerful magics.

Could his weak Deception Magic also create miracles?

Inside.

Makarov exclaimed: "Don't care about anyone's gaze, advance on the path you believe in! That's what a Fairy Tail mage is!"

"Oh!!!"

Everyone followed the master, raising their thumbs and index fingers, letting out happy shouts.

Jehfrit at the entrance also smiled and raised his hand, making this somewhat childish gesture.

"However..." The master's expression changed, looking at the ruins below, his face darkened as he said: "You bastards messed up the guild again, you must fix it exactly as it was!"

"Yes—" Everyone sighed in unison.

"Don't worry, Master."

Jehfrit's voice came from below.

Everyone blinked.

The scene before them completely changed!

Broken walls?

Smashed tables and chairs?

Cracked floors?

None of these!

Tables and chairs were neatly stacked in the corner.

Everyone gathered together, standing on clean, flat, intact floors.

Mira was still standing behind the counter.

Lucy was standing in front of the counter.

Jehfrit sat on a stool next to her, swirling a tall glass of sparkling fruit drink in his left hand. He smiled and said, "Actually, nothing was damaged."

Makarov looked deeply at Jehfrit.

"Jehfrit——!!!"

The roar of everyone almost shattered the ceiling!
