Xavier raised his hand slowly and said in that soft, gentle tone again, "Please… I just want to say one last thing."
The crowd leaned in. Lucas and Ethan stood frozen, mute, shaking with rage as the silence dragged them deeper into irrelevance.
Xavier turned to everyone and smiled — a smile so painfully pure it almost looked holy.
"I know Lucas and his guild reported me just now… but please, don't report them back. That wouldn't be fair. They're just a guild of, what, eighty? Maybe a hundred players?"
He looked around, eyes wide and innocent.
"We're hundreds of thousands here. It wouldn't be right if so many of us reported such a small group back, would it? I mean… if we did that, their accounts might get banned. And that… would be too cruel."
And that was it.
That was all he needed to say.
Because the crowd went wild.
"NO, FUCK THAT."
"BAN THEM ALL!"
"XAVIER IS TOO PURE FOR THIS WORLD!"
"HE'S ASKING US TO FORGIVE THEM WHILE THEY BULLIED HIM? NAH, THEY GOTTA GO."
