Chapter 92 - Chapter 92: This   Kaiba   is Just Weak

Chapter 92: Mokuba Is Just The Worst!

Late that night, Chumley and his companions found a suitable camping spot. After staking three Star Chips and winning a full set of equipment from a duelist who had already pitched their tent, Chumley comfortably lay inside.

Bakura was making a fire, while Mokuba looked at the tent with a face full of disdain: "How can anyone sleep in a place like this at night? So many noisy mosquitoes, even the room Pegasus used to keep me in was much better than this."

"But this is the only place you have to choose from, unless you want to go back to the cage Pegasus prepared for you." Chumley lay in the relatively spacious tent, looking at Mokuba standing in front of it, and chuckled, "So don't be too picky, young master. At least your conditions are better than that guy I won against, right?"

The original owner of this tent seemed to be a rich second-generation, judging by his attire. The tent was quite high-end, but he wasn't wealthy enough to bring people onto the island like Uncle Anasas. At first, Chumley and his group were just passing by and noticed his tent was pretty big, so they wanted to crash for a night. Of course, it wasn't free; Chumley offered one Star Chip.

However, that rich second-generation wasn't as kind as Jie Ge, willing to help Chumley and his two companions, those "beauties." Instead, he saw Chumley's handful of Star Chips as a big catch and insisted on having a Duel with Chumley for his tent. The result was clear: Chumley took the First Turn, Summoned (VW-Catapult Tiger), and on the second Turn, directly brought out (XYZ-Dragon Cannon), Obliterating that rich second-generation.

Although all the Duelists who made it onto the island had gone through several rounds of screening, that didn't mean they were all powerful Duelists. Duelists like Weevil, Mai Valentine, and even Uncle Anasas were, in the end, just a minority.

Mokuba, though still somewhat reluctant, eventually climbed into the tent and sat beside Chumley. Seeing Chumley's leisurely demeanor, Mokuba thought for a moment, then asked, "I saw you talking with him in Pegasus Castle. You must have a good relationship with him, right?"

"You're probably asking why I didn't report you to those Men in Black earlier today, aren't you? Pegasus is a Genius Game Designer, and I happen to have a lot of ideas about this Game too. So, as far as this Game is concerned, we get along quite well, but that's all there is to it."

Chumley sat up, seemingly casually taking off the duelist glove from his wrist and shaking his hand. "That guy and I are not friends." At least, the Pegasus who was now controlled by the power of the (Millennium Eye) and had committed many unforgivable acts was not someone Chumley considered a friend.

"Alright, alright, we still have a whole day of hunting on the island tomorrow, so let's get some rest." Chumley took off the metal box used for his Deck from his waist, so it wouldn't poke him while he slept, and moved to a corner of the tent, lying down with his back towards Mokuba. Bakura, having finished making the fire outside, also crawled into the tent and sat inside, watching the bonfire.

It was already autumn, and Chumley's campsite was quite close to the sea. Without any means of warmth, enduring a night of sea breeze would surely lead to a cold the next day.

After a while, Bakura also lay down, leaving only Mokuba gazing at the fire. The firelight danced in his eyes. He turned his head and glanced at the duelist glove and Deck that Chumley had placed down.

---Kaiba, who arrived on the island by helicopter---

The next morning.

Chumley was in a sleep as comfortable as a baby's. In his dream, he went first on the Field, Summoned a 'Gun King' with 6 materials, activated (Mystic Mine), and then used (Solemn Judgment) to negate the Opponent's (Overlay Delay). But just as he was about to declare a Direct Attack on his Opponent in this sweet dream, he was shaken awake.

"Chumley! This is bad! Wake up quickly! Chumley!"

As soon as Chumley opened his eyes, he saw Bakura with a look as if he was about to cry. Seeing Chumley open his eyes, Bakura hastily said, "Something terrible has happened, Chumley! Mokuba is gone, and so are your Deck and duelist glove!"

Hearing this, Chumley's gaze swept towards his side. Sure enough, the duelist glove he had taken off yesterday and the metal box containing his Deck were both gone. Seeing this, Chumley couldn't help but sigh, "So he still did it, that brat Mokuba."

Seeing Bakura's self-reproaching expression, Chumley quickly comforted him, "Alright, alright, don't cry. Actually, I was prepared for this." Reaching to his waist, Chumley, under Bakura's astonished gaze, pulled out another metal box containing a Deck, along with ten Star Chips.

Facing Bakura's puzzled and confused eyes, Chumley merely smiled, offering no explanation, only saying, "Everything is within my calculations."

Meanwhile, on the other side, Mokuba, with a face mask tied over his face to conceal his true identity, stood on the Duel Stage. On his hand was a duelist glove that clearly didn't fit, appearing quite loose. Embedded in the glove were several Star Chips.

Opposite Mokuba, Yami Yugi, whose demeanor was completely different from the usual Yugi, also stood on the elevated Duel Stage, placing his Deck on the Field. "Though I don't know who you are, stealing other people's Cards and Star Chips is unforgivable."

"Shut up! It's all your fault! If it weren't for you... my brother... Anyway, Duel!"

Mokuba seemed unwilling to reveal his identity just yet, braking just in time when he almost let it slip. Although Yami Yugi's gaze was somewhat suspicious, seeing that Mokuba had already called out "Duel," he said nothing more, simply Drawing his Hand from his Deck.

As Mokuba Drew a Card, he thought: 'Pegasus, that guy, actually contacted the Big Five and put KaibaCorp on the line. Yugi, if you are defeated by Pegasus, KaibaCorp will fall into his hands, and I will never allow that.'

'So, let me use Big Bro Chumley's Deck to defeat you. As long as you don't qualify for the Duelist Kingdom, Pegasus's wager won't be valid!'

Mokuba's plan was quite clever—the Big Five's and Pegasus's Stakes were "to defeat Yugi, who defeated Kaiba, in a formal Match." So, if Yugi didn't enter the formal Match and instead lost his qualification and left the Duelist Kingdom Island beforehand, then the wager wouldn't be valid.

The method Mokuba thought of was to use Chumley's Deck, capable of defeating Weevil Underwood, the national Champion of Japan, to bet all of Yugi's Star Chips and eliminate him. In Mokuba's mind, Yugi's Deck, having lost the invincible (Exodia), was simply not worth mentioning.

Thinking this, Mokuba lowered his head to look at the five Cards he had Drawn into his Hand, and then his jaw dropped—

Among the five Cards in his Hand, Chumley's "Ace Monster"—all three Ojama brothers—were gathered, and the other two Cards were both Chumley's most commonly used (Death Stalker).

From an angle Mokuba couldn't see, the three Ojama brothers had already climbed onto his head, merrily dancing on his headscarf:

"The invincible Ojama brothers!" "Big Bro's strongest Ace Card!" "That's us three, nya~"
