Although Last Warrior from Another Planet completely locked down Normal Summoning, Flip Summoning, and Special Summoning, Setting a monster in Face-down Defense Position did not count as a Summon. Therefore, Chumley was able to place a mysterious Set card next to Last Warrior from Another Planet.

"I Enter my Battle Phase, then Last Warrior from Another Planet attacks that Face-down Defense Position monster!"
'Alright, he's attacking!' Hearing Chumley's attack declaration, Zane Truesdale's eyes lit up, as did the activate Set card button on his Duel Disk.
Last Warrior from Another Planet had a triple Summon lockdown ability. To deal with such a monster, one either had to Summon a monster capable of Destroying it before it appeared, or change tactics and use Spell or Trap Cards against the monster. The card Zane Truesdale had just Set in his Back Row was one that could Destroy Last Warrior from Another Planet.

"Those monsters' effects are Negated until the end of this turn, and their ATK becomes half. Additionally, because I Sent Spell and Trap Cards to the Graveyard, you cannot Activate those types of cards in response to Forbidden Droplet's activation."
Zane Truesdale pointed directly at the two monsters on Chumley's Field. Above their heads, two drops of ominous black liquid dripped from a dark wine glass, falling onto them. The moment they made contact with the liquid, Last Warrior from Another Planet and Invoked Caligula's bodies instantly turned ashen, and their aura became weak.
