Tabitha dressed up in a casual wear, just jean and top. She dressed like a young lady and summer just stared at her as she did her own hair herself. She thought she would change back to normal after last night but she was having a second thought if she actually truly lost her memory cause she was acting totally different. Her dress sense was different, her aura was different, her manner of approach was different as well. She bathed herself, dressed herself she didn't even let summer see her dress which was somehow. Summer always bathed and dressed for her, it wasn't a bad thing that she couldn't do the same thing but she felt a bit distant from her now.
" I'm famished" Tabitha said bringing summer back to reality
" Breakfast is ready, I would inform them to serve it"
" Don't bother, we will go down together soon anyways"
" Yes mam"
" Seriously, I thought we are done with the formalities. How about a better approach"
" Huh"
" Tell me about yourself" Tabitha said
" Me?"
" Yes"
" I grew up from here, we went to the same school right from kindergarten. We were very close friends, I considered you my best friend infact. I lost my family and I was all alone then you got married and you invited me to be your assistant and that's how we ended up here"
" Why would I take you as my assistant if we were best friends?"
" Like I said I lost my family, and I had nothing so I had to do what I had to... To survive"
" We have similar stories, if I tell her the truth would she understand me. But she said she and the real Tabitha are best friends, she would definitely choose her best friend over an imposter" Tabitha thought
" That's my story" summer said and Tabitha snapped out of her thought
" Well, why would I ask you to be my assistant. I mean you should we were both close friends so I could have just helped you another way than ask you to be my assistant"
" You had no choice, every assistant had to be someone you can trust so that's why you made the offer"
" But Vivian was saying something like I treated you like a slave back then, why?"
" I don't know, you just changed all of a sudden"
" I should take it one at a time, if I keep bombarding her with questions she would start doubting me" Tabitha thought
" I just hope I get my memory back soon, I feel so empty without it. Like a whole different world I'm in" Tabitha said
" I think it's a good thing"
" Huh"
" I mean you must have lost your memory for a reason"
" Don't just tell anyone, I don't want them to be bothered"
" Yes I won't"
" Why would I, I also don't want you gain your memory back. I love this version of you." Summer thought
They went down for breakfast and they were a lot of food lined up at the dining table.
" What's this?" She asked on of the maid
" We are sorry mam, Mr Yu asked us to prepare a lot of food for you since you haven't eaten well since yesterday" the head maid said
" Didn't he eat?"
" He was late for work so he couldn't" she said
" Lisa" she said reading the name on her badge
" Yes mam"
" Head cook right?" She asked reading the room as she asked the only one who answered her while the other maid just stood there bowing
" Yes, she has been working with us for years now. Her mother is the head cook in the Yu villa" summer said giving her information
" That means you know what Louis likes right?"
" Yes mam"
" It's Tabitha" she said and all the maids looked at her shocked
" And can you all stop bowing, I'm not a queen or a Goddess" she said to the rest
" Yes mam" they all replied
" It's Tabitha"
" Yes Mrs Tabitha"
" So take me to the kitchen, let's prepare Louis favorite dish then" she said to Lisa and they all looked at her surprised even summer was shocked.
"Tabitha, in the kitchen?. No way" summer thought. It wasn't that she couldn't cook but after she married she never stepped her foot in the kitchen.
Louis was in his office going through a particular file when Andre knocked
" Come in" Louis said and Andre came in.
" I sorted out the payment with the housing company already, so they just need to deliver" Andre said
" Oh, that's good" Louis said
" You look tired"
" Yeah, haven't had time to rest after yesterday's drama"
" So how is she?"
" Tabitha?"
" Yes, has she gone back to her normal way"
" No, I don't know what she's playing at but something is wrong somewhere"
" I would try to look more into it, for now you should get some rest. We have a huge meeting today, you need to get ready. We don't want you collapsing in the middle of the meeting"
" I won't, I need to prepare more for the presentation.. I would rest after the deal is sealed" he said
" Still stubborn as always"
" Have to told Orlando?"
" He said he's quite busy but he would stop by in the evening to check on her"
" Did you tell him everything he needs to do?"
" Yes, he understands"
" Thanks"
" My pleasure" Andre said before leaving
After she finished preparing food, she went to change into a blue coat off shoulder jumpsuit. She put on light makeup took a purse to match her heels, and got into the car with summer and the food.
" I wanted to tell you yesterday but I couldn't get a chance to" summer said
" What's that?"
" I don't have salary"
" Wait, what?"
" Yeah, you never paid me any"
" Why didn't I?"
" I didn't take this as a job, I took it as helping my best friend"
" That doesn't mean, you still doing your best so you need to be rewarded" she said opening her phone and she went to her bank app but she couldn't open it because it was a code not fingerprint
" What's wrong?"
" Nothing, I forgot my bank code"
" Oh, I don't know that"
" It's fine, I would settle that later"
" Sure. Um... This is your first time making a dish and for Mr Yu.. you're even delivering it to him yourself"
" He's my husband, he deserves that much don't you think"
" Yes" she said
They got to the office, it was a tall skyscraper and as the driver parked someone opened the door for her from outside. She got out and put on her shades matching her outfit and walked into the building.
" Good morning Mrs Yu" the workers greeted bowing as she walked in
" Top floor right?" Tabitha asked summer as they got into the elevator
" Yes" summer said wondering if she has gained her memory back
They got to the top floor and as usual everyone was greeting her. She stopped at the secretary side and looked at her, she was pretty. And with the way she looked at her, she could guess she was one of Louis girlfriends. She moved on to Louis office and as she got in she met him fast asleep. The sunlight was obstructing his sleep so she closed the curtains and put on the Air con and fan so he could sleep comfortably. She tried adjusting him but he was too strong to move so she left him that way.
" You're here" Andre said coming in after he heard that she was around
" Kindly reduce your voice, we don't want to wake Mr Yu up" summer said
" Sure, what's with the unexpected visit?" He asked
" Tabitha came to drop homemade lunch for Mr Yu since he didn't eat breakfast."
" Lunch?"
" Yes, she made it herself"
" She could have told someone to drop it off on her behalf"
" She wanted to drop it herself"
" Okay"
" Andre" Tabitha said more like a question as she approached them
" Yes"
" Please, attend to all matters for now and don't let anyone come in her to disturb Louis"
" Sure" Andre said before leaving
" Summer"
" Yes"
" Make sure no one comes in here, if it's urgent you can call me"
" Yes" summer said going out as well
Vivian wanted to call Louis about the last night incident. It was unlike him not to call or ask her how she was fairing especially after what happened last night. He would have actually called her if he's mum didn't call and also if Tabitha didn't hold him throughout the night. She decided to call his secretary because she wanted her to know that Louis loves her more than any other girl.
" Who is it?" She asked
" Mimi, it's Vivian" Vivian said and Mimi scoffed
" Aren't you humiliated enough after last night?" Mimi said
" Put Louis on the phone"
" I'm sorry I can't"
" Wait till I tell Louis, seems you are ready to loose your job"
" I can't not only because I don't want to but because the real Mrs Yu is here and she asked everyone not to enter Mr Yu office."
" What do you mean?, Tabitha is there and...that's a lie"
" Why don't you call Mr Yu and ask for yourself"
Mimi said before hanging up
Vivian was furious, she called Louis phone immediately. Tabitha saw it and wanted to pick at first but she hang up and put the phone on silent but the caller kept on calling. She check the caller ID it was Vivian calling. She sighed as she received the call
" Hello" Tabitha said before Vivian could say a word and Vivian shook
" Listen, he's busy. Call back later" Tabitha said and hang up
Few minutes later, summer called Tabitha out.
" What's going on?" She asked as she saw Mimi stand outside with summer
" We need Mr Yu, he has a meeting"
" He's busy"
" This is more important than whatever is doing" Mimi said and Tabitha was about to talk back but Andre came
" It's an important meeting"
" You handle it"
" I can't, it's a big deal that requires the head and Louis has been planning this for years he wouldn't like it if he misses it"
" Alright then, when is this meeting starting?"
" Thirty minutes from now"
" Okay, you can all go then. The meeting will start soon so you should also prepare" she said
" Summer, come with me" she said going inside and summer followed behind.
Thirty minutes later, everyone already sat in the conference room even the investors were already there as well. The door of the conference room opened and Tabitha came in with full confidence.
" What is she doing here?, where is Louis?" Andre thought
" I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, I decided to prepare some snacks for you" she said
" We aren't here to eat, we are here for business" one of the man said
" Don't bribe us with food" another one said
" I'm not bribing you, you're our guest and the one thing to never do is treat your guest bad."
" Where is Mr Yu?" One of them asked
" I would be heading the meeting and the presentation today, Mr Yu trusted me with it and I would do my best to deliver" she said
" Oh no, Louis would be mad" Andre thought
" Summer, please serve out guest"
" Sure" summer said serving them
" So, I don't plan to waste much of your time cause as you all know we are the best industry in town for this job but sometimes some smaller companies can do better .. I mean that's how your company actually grew, am I right Mr song?"
" No" he answered
" Moving on, we need to first discuss more on the project before giving reasons why we are the best to handle the job. As you know, 50% of this town land belongs to industries and companies of different kind but our if this 50% only two percent are top notch restaurant, and five percent are five star hotels... How about we construct not just a restaurant but a seven star hotel combined with a top notch restaurant. If we look at the sales made from just the three five star hotel, it's about a billions a month and the restaurant close to that amount as well.. imagine combining the two together, it would be triple what anyone could dream of. And I know what you're all thinking right now?, how would it top the rest hotel and restaurant, it's simple. All you need is simplicity mixed with aura. How do you like the snack?"

" Take the snack as our project, you look at it and see it looks so simple but it's eye catching as well, you're eager to taste it and after you do you're out of this world.. that's the same thing we are gonna do, we lure people in and make them not want to come out..." She kept on explaining the project and surprisingly every single person was paying attention even the people outside were trying to listen.
" The decision is yours, I gave you an idea but you have every right to use my idea and give this project to another company. I want this business to be built on trust, not only that but it wouldn't be a job but a partnership instead" she said which shocked everyone
" She didn't tell us the full plan, if we go to another company she could just carry out the real plan with some other investors. She also knows a lot about our company which could be bad for us" that head of the investors thought
" Fine, we agree. It's a fifty fifity deal then"
" I never said it's an equal partnership, how about a seventy thirty till we meet the said goal" she said and the man chuckled
" You are really good at your job no wonder Mr Yu trusted you with this. You have a deal" the man said sighing the contract
" Thank you, partner" she said shaking him
