Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Prologue

In the aftermath of a forgotten war, where cities lie in ruin and silence has devoured the living, a lone woman with white hair and hollow blue eyes walked through the broken field of gravestones.

crunch... crunch...

The sound of her heels pressing against dead grass echoed through the silence.

The air was still.

The world seem dead.

She walked past the graves of people she once knew—names carved into stone like echoes of a past that no longer mattered.

Her friends.

Her husband.

Her brother.

Her father.

Her Son...

She passed them all without stopping.

Until she saw it—

A grave with no name. No flowers. No offerings.

Just a slab of black stone,

Stained in Red blood

She stood still.

Then slowly, quietly, she sat before it.

And then—

"Ah… ah… Ahahahaha… AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"

The laughter burst from her throat like a scream.

Mad, broken, wild.

It ripped through her lungs like knives. Her hands clutched at her stomach as she shook uncontrollably, cackling through clenched teeth.

"…It's all my fault," she whispered, her voice cracking like broken glass.

"He killed them all... because of me..."

Her lips trembled as she spoke to the stone.

There was no one around.

No one to hear.

No one left to call her insane.

"—Ahahaha... HAHAHAHA!!"

"You planned this, didn't you...? You planned it all... right from the very beginning..."

"You never forgot, did you?"

"To think this was your revenge… your masterpiece… your final curse..."

Her hands clawed at the earth, fingers digging into the dirt.

Her nails scraped against the cold surface of the stone—scratchhhhhh—!

Over and over.

""To think I raised you… fed you… loved you like my own... hahahahahahaha!!"

"To think I raised such a monster… such a creature…"

"To think… that she gave birth to such a demon—!!!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Her voice broke again.

A dry, hollow sob escaped her throat, but it was smothered by laughter, rage, and despair.

"…But it's fine. It's fine. I know what to do... I know what to do…"

"I'll erase it... yes... yessss… YESSSSS!!"

"I'll erase everything about you... every record, every trace… every memory…"

Her voice fell to a whisper, almost tender.

"No one will remember what you were. What you did."

"No one will know that a human was capable of... such destruction."

"Hehe... eheh... ahahahah…!"

"I'll erase you…" she whispered again, her mouth twisted in a smile soaked in tears.

"And only I will carry the weight… only I…"

drip... drip...

Tears fell onto the stone.

scratchhhh—! scratchhh—!

"I will make sure... no one remembers your name..."

"…My son…"

"…My curse..."

"…May your name be forgotten forever."
