Whoosh!
A strong gust of wind burst from the portal and slammed into everyone beneath the theater stage.
"Ugh..." Jack crossed his arms in front of his face. "What an insanely strong gust of wind!"
If he had relaxed even a little, he would have been blown away from his spot.
A few seconds later, the wind weakened and finally died down.
Jack and Sharon let out a sigh of relief. Sharon turned to Nolan with worry in her eyes. "Are you okay? No one got hurt, right?"
Nolan gave a soft smile. "No, Sister. Thank you for worrying about me."
Even if the gust had been a hundred times stronger, it wouldn't have harmed him. Still, her concern touched him.
Sharon nodded slightly, then turned her gaze toward the portal.
The once-ordinary green light grew brighter, and soon, a massive black shadow began to emerge.
"Oh? I didn't expect any visitors on my ship. Welcome, everyone."
A skeleton dressed in pirate clothes stepped out, chuckling softly.
