Chapter 382 - The Singularity of Death

Nolan snapped the fingers on his left hand. Instantly, the atmosphere turned gloomy.

The strong sea breeze disappeared, and the seawater became calm.

The change frightened Levi. His instincts told him that if he didn't run now, his life would be in danger.

Without hesitation, he turned and sprinted away. Yet before he had even covered two hundred meters, his body suddenly froze in place.

His limbs—his hands, feet, and head—became completely immobile.

His eyes widened in fear as he cried out in his heart, What's happening? Why can't I move my body?

Panicked and desperate, he tried to break free from the invisible restraints but failed.

Boom!

An explosion sounded above him. Levi jerked in surprise and wanted to see what it was, but he couldn't.

Slowly, his body was lifted upward at a snail's pace.

His position also began to change from standing upright to lying on his back.

Eventually, he could see what was pulling him—a black sphere hundreds of meters in size.
