Chapter 118 - 118 - Susanoo!

Seeing this scene, everyone, except for Tsunade and Orochimaru, was stunned.

Even Minato and his group were no exception.

A single thought popped into the minds of all the onlookers, but they didn't dare believe it was true.

It wasn't until Shin finished unwrapping the bandages and slowly opened his eyes, revealing a pair of vivid Mangekyō Sharingan, that everyone realized, he wasn't blind at all.

Hiruzen felt a sudden jolt in his heart, his legs nearly giving out beneath him. Because this exact scene… he had already seen it before, down to every last detail. Although he had previously harbored some suspicion, he had brushed it off as a result of his nerves.

But now, the vision from the prophecy had become reality. And when he saw Shin's eyes, and that pattern, he was so furious he nearly coughed up blood. Because he recognized those eyes. They were the exact same ones from the nightmare he'd had that day.

But how could it be? How could eyes he had never seen before and a scene he had never witnessed appear so clearly in his mind? Was it some kind of prophetic jutsu? A glimpse of the future?

Infuriating!

Absolutely infuriating!

Even though he had foreseen this future, he was completely powerless to do anything about it. He had truly believed back then that Shin had gone blind due to overusing the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan. But now, Shin's eyes were clearly focused, their agility no different from an ordinary person's.

Liar.

What a liar!

Though, to be fair, he had wrongly blamed Shin. In the past, he had indeed overused his Mangekyō Sharingan during research, which led to his temporary blindness. But ever since he underwent an evolution procedure, his ocular power had gradually begun to recover. Though the recovery was slow due to his body not being fully evolved, by now his eyes had long since returned to full strength. He had simply kept them hidden, wrapped in bandages, to fool everyone.

But ever since the game began, he no longer intended to hold back.

If not for being temporarily delayed by Uzushio, Hiruzen would have witnessed this moment even sooner.

"So, are you ready?" Shin looked at A and grinned.

The next moment, golden light began to radiate from his body, expanding outward with him at the center. Soon, the golden light formed into a massive upper-body skeleton.

But that was just the beginning.

As he channeled more chakra into it, the golden skeletal form began to grow veins and flesh, expanding in size to form a massive golden humanoid.

Then the giant transformed further, armor forming over its body. At last, the golden radiance solidified into a full humanoid form, nearly 200 meters tall, with golden wings, clad entirely in armor, and a long blade sheathed at its waist. Under the sunlight, it gleamed with an awe-inspiring and terrifying aura.

The Complete Body Susanoo was fully formed!

This scene instantly stunned everyone present.

The timid among them collapsed to the ground, trembling uncontrollably, unable to regain their composure. Because this giant wasn't just visually terrifying, the overwhelming pressure it exuded made their very souls tremble.

"Niisan..." Minato was completely dumbfounded. He had no idea his brother had this kind of move. And just by looking at it, he could tell, it was absurdly powerful.

Even Orochimaru was slack-jawed. He had never seen this move before either, and the same could be said for Kushina and Nawaki.

You sly devil.

Tsunade, however, couldn't help the smile that tugged at her lips. She glanced proudly around her, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't suppress the feeling of pride swelling in her chest. Unconsciously, she straightened her back.

Outsiders watched for the spectacle, and were nearly scared to death. But insiders saw the truth behind the spectacle, and were even more terrified.

Among those who had come to "watch the show" were members of the Uchiha clan, and they understood better than anyone else what that golden giant represented.

That, goddammit, was Susanoo, and not just any Susanoo, but the Complete Body Susanoo, a power said to be granted only to the gods in legend!

The last Uchiha known to wield such power was none other than Madara.

Even Kagami had never possessed such might.

Right now, many of them were filled with intense regret. Why the hell had they been so blinded by greed or arrogance that they actually exiled Shin from the clan? And now, not only had relations not improved, they'd grown even worse, especially thanks to Hanma.

This was the kind of feeling where you held a winning lottery ticket, threw it away, then realized the numbers won, only to find it was gone forever.

The regret was bone-deep.

Only Fukuyama was barely able to suppress the wild smile on his face, his entire body trembling with excitement.

He himself also possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan and could summon Susanoo. But because of the curse of their bloodline disease, he had never awakened the complete form.

He even had a hunch that this wasn't even Shin's limit. Where that limit lay, he didn't know. But he knew one thing, this was damn exciting.

"Father, there's no need to be so scared." At his side, Fugaku noticed his father's trembling and couldn't help saying, "One day, I'll surpass him."

Fukuyama's body stiffened. He turned to look at Fugaku as if looking at a complete idiot.

After a long pause...

Forget it. He's my son after all. As long as he's happy.

Not far away, Hiruzen felt completely dizzy. He genuinely wanted to cry. The thought that he had raised such a terrifying enemy right under his nose made him want to die.

He'd had so many chances in the past, he could have easily snuffed out Shin when he was weak. But somehow, Shin had grown into this, without anyone noticing.

Damn it!

And the worst, most infuriating part?

Shin stood firmly on Tsunade's side, which meant her power and influence had just taken a massive leap.

Mito, Torifu, Fukuyama and the Uchiha clan, Shin, the former Senju clan, the Uzumaki clan... Plus, the fact that she was the granddaughter of Hashirama.

Before anyone realized it, she had built up enormous power and broad support, commanding unmatched prestige. And that was just what was visible on the surface.

Who knew how many more had secretly pledged loyalty to her?

And he, the Hokage, had actually been forced into such a corner by her.

---

From within the Complete Body Susanoo, Shin looked down, surveying the surroundings from high above, taking in everyone's reactions.

It was all worth it. This performance had definitely made a big impact.

Meanwhile, A was nearly in tears.

How the hell can I defeat this?

You could say his mental state was already cracking, he was scared before the fight even started. But to be fair, it wasn't entirely his fault.

After being brutally beaten and captured by Tsunade, his confidence had been crushed before it could even be built. And now, thinking back to how she had been smirking the whole time he challenged Shin, he had absolutely no desire to fight anymore.

But it didn't matter if he didn't want to fight, Shin had no intention of letting A off the hook. If so, then what was the point of him putting on this whole show?
